Dr. Doom vs Iron Man

Agreed.

Doom is a prep God, he fought the Classic Beyonder with prep.

The single people that I can think that could give him a contest in a prep battle are John Constantine and Thanos.

Doom wins all 3. His magic is a huge trump card. Reed is the best mind in the marvel universe. Not the best prep master. Reed is too straight forward. he doesn't think 5 moves ahead like Tchalla or Thanos. Reed has been out smarted by Tony and hank Pym because Reed doesn't think of counter measures. also Reed is a hero. he has no desire to take over the universe so his prep feats aren't as impressive as villains. Prep means: planning for EVERY counter move. That being said, the best prep masters are:

1) Thanos. Thanos gets a slight edge over Dr. Doom because when Thanos gets involved it literally takes everyone to stop him. Avengers/xmen/Guardians of galaxy/Adam Warlock/ Eternity/Death/ LT etc. it takes EVERYONE to stop him

2) Dr. Doom. Doom is Thanos equal. Dooms stories are just not EVENTS like when Thanos comes around. But Dr. Doom is second to no one.

3) Reed solves problems like no one else. Better then anyone else. Reed is so smart, he makes other smart people, look not smart. If Reed were a villain, he would EASILY be at the top of this list.

@pooty: oh come on! Btw I agree with your analysis except I'd say it's Reed > Doom > Thanos just because Dooms inferior tech yet arguably superior feats. In any event I'd hate to see a morals off Reed Richards with prep more than anyone else.

@hulkman123: he's done more with less, and didn't have the benefit of having his 2 major feats all written by the same writer in 30 years. Anyway there's a Doom vs Thanos vs Reed thread. You can bump it and add a new argument for Thanos if you like but they were pretty soundly downed by feats of both Doom and Reed. Thanos is more popular though, of course. We could continue this there if you had more to add that wasn't previously discussed.

@marlboroman: actually Thor was getting bi*chslapped until the machine was destroyed that power Dooms armor.

@supermanwithatan01: Doom doesn't get the credit Thanos gets because Doom is mostly confined to Fantastic Four books. When Thanos comes around its his own mini series. It's a event that crosses over into multiple titles. They need to do that with Doom. Give Doom his own EVENT.

Doom can take how much nuclear stuffs he want. You need magic to beat this guy. Not Repulsors or beams. Doom could corrupt Tony's mind and kill him with the Cube

doom and stark goes tie on round 1 and 3, and doom wins round 2. Dr Doom and Iron Man both basically have the same power. or rogue shadow is right.

@tony_shark: @thecoolest: Iron man can fight the beyonder also if he makes a power asorbing machine. the reason iron man doesn't do that is because he knows he is a good guy and if he changes anything already settled in the reality he might cause unexpected and big problems. and the thing where tony stark gets his armour down graded? the model 42 armour is the most advanced armour and iron man can fight count nefaria solo or even the void in his classic suit in override mode. well, not even dr. doom can beat the void and at the last resort in the battle with dr.doom, iron man will get into override mode and beat the hell out of dr.doom (just a chance he might do that, because iron man doesn't frequently uses that, and I'm only talking about round 1& 3, that's why they would tie.)

Doom's magic could completely screw up Tony's armor assuming his own armor doesn't do it first.

Round 2
Victor without armor has beaten a lion with a single punch, not to mention with prep, he'd be even better in h2h. Plus, he can use his magic outside of his armor, and without the Iron Man suit, Tony can't protect himself against Doom's offensive magic. Not to mention that Latverian resources WAY outclass anything Stark Industries could come up with.

With just one month alone, Vic could prep way more than Tony could, and if BFR is allowed, just throw him into any number of dimensions.

Round two Tony Tony was on an island and he had a battle his own AI armor and he made traps for AI and he all he had was his flesh and sticks and stones nd he was able to last a couple hours

I think you guys are underestimating Tony. He beat Doom in Fatal Frontier. Doom will lose if both sides get prep or have no prep

No one is underestimating Tony Both with prep are very very powerful but without prep Doom has a far better chance due to magic. An with it a even better chance due to magic again.
