Takes place in Dormammu's realm.
Dormammu vs Shuma-Gorath vs Trigon
Trigon should win.
He wins if he doesn't job like against the Titans, yes.
Trigon should win.
@thanofleeze: He does just that Trigon is to powerful he conquered half his universe at age six and his whole universe at age 30 and then began conquering universes from there on and has ripped holes through layers of reality his presence alone warped Earth
Shuma should win as he's slightly more multiversal than Trigon is. Also he eats magic. Like literally. So Trigon and Dormammu will just make him stronger.
One big stalemate.
I was thinking this but then....

Well, I remember Dormammu saying he had "enough cosmic power to stop [Hulk] in [his] tracks without lifting a finger." (Not saying that's much of an accomplishment considering the rest could do so just as well). It's just that Dormammu called his power "cosmic" not necessarily "magic." Although....I guess it could simply be a "poe-tae-toh, poe-tah-toh" moment too though...
fuh, idk

Dormammu in his realm has showed amazing feats he even took on eternity; and Shuma Gorath, don't get me started on him as even outside his realm he is a universal+ threat.
He never "took on" Eternity, as he's never been powerful enough to pose a threat to Eternity without some extensive amp or circumstances. The closest he came was taking himself out while trying to destroy Eternity which resulted in both of them being taken out, but basically being fine afterwards(if I remember correctly). Hell, beforehand Eternity was basically acknowledging Dormammu as nothing more than an insect.
That is pretty much his absolute HIGHEST showing, and it was done more than 30 years ago. He hasn't been portrayed as anywhere close to that level since.
And Shuma-Gorath has done NOTHING to suggest him being a universal("+"? Seriously???) threat in combat. EVER.
You can quote me on that.
The feats don't exist.
Hell, Sise-Neg straight up smacked and banned Shuma-Gorath like a universal moderator.

Agreed. Trigon takes this.
@xiix: sise-neg stated that he couldn't defeat shuma because he would just absorb my energy so he banned him instead. Anyways Trigon isn't beating dormammu in his own realm let alone someone who would just absorb all of his attacks like a sponge. This really comes down to dormammu vs shuma and shuma would just absorb the energy of the realm. Unless BFR is allowed shuma wins.
Shuma Gorath wins, and pretty easily at that.
Based on what feats?
@ordinaryalan: This should be good. I'd love to see what on panel feats Shuma-Gorath has to suggest he could out-combat a demon that has laid waste to universes(plural).

To be fair that's only impressive depending upon how powerful his opposition was. It's not impressive if Superman beats up a 1,000 humans all at once vs beating up the rest of the Justice League in one go.
Shuma-Gorath stomps. Shuma-gorath has stated the Mephisto (who i believe is equal to Dormammu) compared to him is like a mouse compared to a great temple.
Dormammu is vastly more powerful and superior to Mephisto.
When is the last time Shuma has done anything and what's his greatest feat? If it's not at least Multiversal then he/it has no chance against Trigon, Dormammu has no hope. Also Mephisto or Galactus are not as powerful as any of these guys.
well even then Dormammu my be considered a dog to a great temple.
@thanofleeze: Dorms isn't in the same league as shuma or Trigon.
Trihon wins only brcause his feats outside his realm match those in. If in Shuma's realm a much harder battle to pick a winner for.
BTW Trigon doesn't "job" to the titans he jobs to his daughter who has his power. Sort of how Hellstrom beats Satan, Blackheart gets the best nod Mephisto etc.
@mysticmedivh: Dorms isn't more powerful than Mephisto at all. When Hellstrom tricked hell lords to fight each other it took the combined power of Dormammu and Satanish to beat Mephisto.
Isn't Shuma Gorath able to destroy thousands of realities with a wave of his tentacles?
Meh not really. Not that he has ever shown to do anything like that.
The best feat i can recall was Shuma Gorath vs an amped up Dr. Strange in his own realm was going to destroy all of neither-realm. I suppose we could consider neither-realm a combination of many realities, although it was orginally just 1 universe split up into different group.
