As much as I love the Chief and his abilities, it is stated that the Preator suit that the Doom Slayer wears is indestructible against anything but the powers and weapons of hell, where it was forged. Meaning John 117 has no real means of killing Doomguy.

2016 Doomguy wins with difficulty.
