i'll go with doflo, in a VERY tough fight, garp has beyond monstrous strength levels

It's kind of obvious that Garp would win this.

Back in the old days, only Whitebeard and Garp were able to match Roger.

We have seen that even sick and hurt WB was able to fight against admirals, and Garp, while old, is still pretty healthy.

Garp refused the promotion to become an admiral many times.

Then he has feats like lifting millions of tons with one hand, easilly, speed blitzing Marco, destroying 8 mountains, breaking the head of a guy who cracked a small continent with a headbut... and we haven't seen him going all out yet.

anyways, we shall soon find out the full scope of DD powers, so it might be a good time to reopen this.

Doflamingo's flight advantage may give him the win, knowing Garp he'll be sure to keep his distance and attack from long range while his opponent is physically burdened offensively

Doflamingo in a very tough fight! He isn't going to be unscathed but he has shown better feats than Garp. Since Garp is melee he will be taken out from a distance.

We need new feats for current Garp please people don't bump this till we have them

Yeah but in his prime he would have stomped DD, he was a Pirate King lv. character. Old Garp should be comparable with old WB. DD should be able to put up a fight, but I don't see him winning in any scenario.

Garp takes this, for those who said he passed his prime ? what are you talking about ? the man knocked Marco out of his phoenix form, in his old age he has shown to sign of losing a step, except falling a sleep lol

if we go by this (since garp and sengoku seemed like akainu would die if sengoku would have let go of garp) garp should win mid diff

Garp is one of the two rivals of Roger he managed to corner him so many times that Roger considered him to be part of his crew. He has the hype of being the hero of the marine, father of the most wanted men of the World, grandfather of the future PK, rival of the former PK, Whitebeard reacted immediately to Garp entry in the war. He is clearly among the very top of the OPverse while Doffy isn't. Yonkou, admirals, Mihawk, Dragon, Yonkou's FM are all portrayed to be above him.

His shown feats are awesome too, old man managed to handicap a legend of the Pirate World with one punch and to inflict damages to Marco while Kizaru wasn't able to do so before Onigumo clasped Seastone Cuffs on him.

Garp, obviously.

But I don't think old Garp can pull this one off

impressive but still not definitive proof he wins so until they go into detail on his power and in this case his current power imo doflamingo wins by default.

Even Old Garp would wipe the floor with Doffy.

@98115: What does have Doflaming to take that legend ? After all Roger never showed any feats so I guess Doflamingo beats the Pirate King right ?

@kal-l: im not saying that doflamingo beats everyone im saying that without feats you cant make a case for roger or garp so that is why garp loses for now but when and if he shows some of his true power that can change. and this is current garp and they haven't shown how his strength now compares to how he was in his prime. by hype of course roger should win as well as garp but there is little to prove it with actual feats.

@98115: Okay so if I get your reasoning even though Oda says that Roger was the strongest pirate of the World (only Prime Whitebeard was able to tie with him) as we didn't see him fighting, you'd choose Doffy over him. This is ludicrous. Usopp has feats unlike Roger, guess he'd win.

Old Garp does have feats and portrayal.

His feats showed a tremendous amount of strenght and his haki seems to be at the top as he is the only man who managed to reached the top of the World without mastering any weapon or any DF. On top of that he mastered the forms of the Rokushiki which allowed him to teach it to Coby.

@kal-l: my point stands, without feats garp can only win on hype. feats > hype & statements on comicvine, and the feats he does have aren't quite enough yet. so as I said based on statements and hype garp wins but in a debate with proof presented garp loses.

Garp easily takes this one Donflamingo is no push over though but i believe garp is way stronger than he leads on he refused to become an Admiral given he was offered the position he fought guys like Whitebeard and Gol.D Garp takes this mid difficulty

It's pretty obvious that Garp is stronger.

If you say Garp isn't stronger than Doffy, then you are more or less saying he's weaker than his grandson Luffy.

Garp would shit on his life. He is without a doubt admiral level, shit he drew blood on Marco casually.

By feats Doffy would stomp, but Garp going all out should take it.
