Does Invincible Always Lose? Invincible vs Superboy

This looks like it should be a cool BOTW. Very interested to see the arguments for both.

Bump. Would like to see some Superboy arguments here before making a choice.

I'm laughing at post crisis Superbly running away with votes. I wonder if people are confusing Superboy with Super Boy Prime

Probably Invincible. I don't think Conner could even survive being in the sun, much less fight a Thragg-level opponent in the sun like Mark did.

Invincible probably wins, his fight with Thragg puts him above Superboy's level physically for certain.

Nah, I just found the thread in question after you mentioned it, While some of the feats you posted are of Post-Flashpoint Connor, it's still a good help. I'll probably back Mark, considering he got more impressive feats recently, at least from what I've seen, such as his fighting Thragg in the sun.

That's good then. Yeah I made the mistake of posting New 52 Superboy feats as well. There are a couple other decent feats I know of like Conner staggering Brainiac and tearing Lex Luthor's warsuit apart but in general Mark is more impressive, especially lately like you said.

I don't care what anyone say, Superboy 90's looks is an always will be the dopest look.

Yeah, Mark wins this. And since that would mean his W/L would be 3-1, this series is pretty much over since the answer is clearly no.

@saren: Surviving in the sun only requires building level durability, city block level if you are in the core, that is if you are human sized in terms of volume and surface area.

It would be more of a low showing that both Mark and Thragg got hurt by being in the upper layers of the sun. This happens in many comics because writers don't really know the durability required for a regular human sized character to survive in the sun. Even a Nuke can hit temperatures above the core of the Sun and Mark has tanked worse than that.

Regardless i find Mark's feats superior to Conner's.

Real quick, its stated sun temperatures hurt Mark and Thragg for a reason. While Mark can tank nuke heat and stuff, the Smart Atoms that make Mark up are able to be broke down by prolong exposure to sun temperature heats. So a quick flash of heat is not a threat, but a minuet or more clearly was.

There is no TK here mate. Post Crisis feats only. 90s to 2000s era. Not New 52.

@sirfizzwhizz: Superboy originally had TTK (Tactile telekinesis). He was a clone of the founder of Cadmus (I think it was Cadmus anyway). This was retconned in the 2000's to where he had half kryptonian DNA instead and got Superman powers and stats and stopped using his TTK. That's what KL was talking about

Yup. Up until 2003, Connor was a pure human clone with TTK to simulate some of Superman's powers. Johns retconned him in the 2003 run of Teen Titans to be half kryptonian.

@sirfizzwhizz: @blackestnight93: Actually Post Crisis Superboy started using TTK again during and after Blackest Night several times alongside his Kryptonian powers as well. So Conner is likely to use his TTK powers against Mark in the fight.
