What version of Captain Atom is that?

the version that appeared in Captain Atom Armageddon. It was his crossover with Wildstorm (and yes, it's canon for him)

Think of it like the Speed-Force in a way but instead of a speedster force it is a force for Quantum and such powered beings like Captain Atom. It is the main source of his power. When he is inside the Field/tapping into it fully CA finds himself with a mass boost in power able to draw upon nearly limitless/around universal powers.

Captain Atom was implied to be near omnipotent in the Quantum Field... at least in the sense that he could pretty much do whatever he wanted, including creating universes within it. But AFAIK this is not a fact because I'm not sure it was ever really tested. But, he did create a universe in there even though he pretty much had no experience manipulating the QF, so...

This is a hard battle to call because in the Quantum Field, Captain Atom is probably above skyfather level. But, Fate is magical in nature so that might nullify Atom's elemental abilities in the QF.

I feel atom inside the quantum field will over power Fate. But Without the field fate handily..

Maybe, maybe not. Atom definitely has magic resistance, but does he have it in the Quantum Field? What if the magical source is inside the QF with him? I dont know. I think this is all subject to what a writer wanted to do with this story and fight. It could just be that Atom wins easily because he's near-omnipotent there. Or it could be that Fate is powerful enough to pull off some magical way to shut it down.

That all makes sense, but then again it's still an assumption. It might be an assumption that makes some logical sense, and I agree with it, but I also havent seen an example of a powerful magical being like Fate in the QF to give supporting evidence. It's like ABC logic. It might make sense that A defeats B and B defeats C means that A defeats C, but there's often many factors that come into play. A writer might just say that the reason why the Quantum Energy that Atom uses protects him from magic has something to do with how it interacts with the universe outside of the Quantum Field, but inside there are different conditions and that changes things. Or it could be that being a Lord of Order gives Fate some advantage in that respect. It's all just a bit too much speculation and too many unknowns. If I have to bet I'd put my money on Atom, however.

Fate wins, Atom has never once used the power of the quantum field in battle and it's not like Fate needs magic to beat Atom, even without magic he's roughly as strong and durable as E2 Superman and has TK on the planetary moving scale.
