Even without speed, most already solo the DCEU, so in terms of live action characters they are OP.

currently my expectations are low due to MCU frequently using PIS so fodder characters may shine, but I'm pleasantly surprised so far. Spiderman is the right mix of Andrew' speed (although not as fast) and Tobey's strength. Thor and CM got the feats they deserve in what if. Strange has always been powerful but he got really powerful now and wanda also got a huge powerup and Vision went from fodder to high tier.

Keep in mind Portman is 40(older than Hemsworth), she has said nothing about her future in the MCU and Hemsworth said his Thor’s journey is just starting. Jane also has cancer in the film and it’s confirmed to be heartbreaking.

As the MCU has gotten more established they have gotten more comfortable ramping up the silly comic-bookiness of their movies. I think the trajectory from stuff like Iron Man 1 and Hulk 2008 to Thor Ragnarok and GotG has been clear, and it looks to still be moving in that direction (Taika Waititi has described Love and Thunder as pure comic book nonsense). I think the power level climbs as they concern themselves less with being grounded and reigning in the comic book insanity.
