Round 1- No Prep

Round 2- 1 Hour Prep

Team takes it. Xavier guards their minds while Thor and Glad go to town.

Team. Even Despero couldn't contend with Thor, Gladiator, and Quasar all at once.

Round one :Despero

Round two: Can go either way. Prof X and Quasar shield the team from mind control and but I'm unsure if the team is powerful enough to take out Despero. Maybe BP has some badass weapons in Wakanda that he could use to take out Despero, idk much about him to be honest.

Despero. Superior TP, plus he's contended with the JLA and the JSA at the same time, and managed to beat a good number of them down. Xavier isn't on his level, he's not defending anything here.

I'm gonna say Despero When there is no prep due to him being able to take on the JLA and overpowering a lot of the top tier members.

As for prep I could see Professor X and Black Panther creating a solid plan that could work.

Round 1, Despero stomps. As for round 2, I don't know what can Black Panther do with prep, so I'm not sure.

It's a win either way for the team. Xavier can protect the team from all of Desperos mental attacks and the team when well coordinated can take about Despero with moderate difficulty.

Prof Xavier solo's Despero soo easily the roster is told to stand down.

marvel team xavier alone could possibly win in telepathy

but then consider thor can increase xaviers powers allowing an even better chance for chuck then add gladiator who thanos even respects his strength and is a planet busting striker along with thor who is also a planet buster and qusar who has crazy energy output and versatility.

Despero's TP is too much for all of them. As for the prep round i don't see why Despero pulls out the Flame of P'ytar.

1. BP, Namor, QS, and Gladiator gets few shotted. Xavier would most likely get overpowered. Quasar is suppose to be immune to TP, but he honestly hasn't stand up to telepaths like Despero. Thor's TP resistance is inconsistent, therefore Despero wins the majority.
2. Team, pretty sure that Thor can come up with an anti Despero ax, and Xavier will probably bring some device that can enhance his powers.

(Same for the second round. 1 hour of uninformed prep time isn't enough to swing the odds, even when discounting the fact Despero'd have it too)

Round 1:xavier needs feats on despero's level and that doesn't stop despero from one shoting him, it comes down to thor and gladiator's strength and wendell's shields

Despero was beating the crap out of Superman, Captain Marvel, and Wonder Woman when they gang up on him. Gladiator is actually inferior to Thor feat-wise, and breaking Hyperion's neck isn't really that impressive as Namora had done the same thing to King Hyperion who's more or less 712 Hyperion's equal. Marvel tends to state Gladiator as Thor's equal, but he really isn't on par with high tiers like them.

Despero, Xavier isn't doing anything to him.

@cognitive: Not really , Gladiator has feats to put him atleast at par with Thor , and in terms of feats King Hyperion is inferior to other versions of Hyperion especially 712 Hyperion (Who might be the strongest or the strongest version of Hyperion).So comparing Gladiator to Namora is basically useless.

Real simple here Charles or protection if their minds. Team e eventually takes despro down.

Someone mentioned him taking on Clark and Diana and Marvell.

Thor is far more powerful and strikes harder then all of them, the quantum bands and Glads added to that take despro down after a good fight.

Despero wins quite handily . He has multi-planetary TP and he is easily regarded as Teambuster with his Telepathy.
