Hebi Sasuke is replaced by Naruto in the same situation, conditions and location as he was about to fight Deidara with Tobi helping him plant bombs.

This is War Arc Naruto before getting SO6P Mode. Both Naruto and Deidara are at full power and not fatigued.

R1: Naruto starts in base. No KCM allowed.

R2: Naruto starts in Sage Mode. No KCM allowed and no back up clones pre-battle.

R3: Naruto starts in KCM 1. No KCM 2 allowed.

Can Deidara clear and why?

Deidara takes the first round handily

Round 2 can go either way but i'd lean more towards Deidara unless he gets blitzed right off the bat

Round 3 is all Naruto easily.

War arc Naruto?

R1: 50/50, flight disadvantage for Naruto, but summons and way better attack power can combat that

R2: Don't see why Naruto can't oneshot

R3: easy blitz and one shot for Naruto

So, R1 is the most debatable. I restricted KCM but not SM. I think he can enter sage mode mid battle and win.

Naruto's base went up from sage mode training, but I feel like Deidara could outsmart and outplay Naruto. Not sure if he can escape the suicide bomb attack.

R2 and R3 easily go to Naruto. His pains feats easily put him above Deidara.

Deidara for 1, Naruto for 2 and 3

@frenzyflame: SM Naruto is way too strong and too fast for Deidara to handle. Deidara can’t tag him and even if he’s in the air, Naruto can jump and wrestle that dragon to the ground.

Round 1: Deidara without too much trouble.

Round 2: Deidara would only win if he could last the SM time limit (War arc SM Naruto is simply in a higher character tier). But once he takes to the sky, Naruto's only real range option is Rasenshuriken (well, war arc SM Naruto also has the bigger variants of RS as well.) Even on the off chance Deidara's mount is fast enough to dodge the attack, the expansion would catch him and he'd be shredded to dust.

Round 3: Naruto is blitzing him and pounding him into the dirt before he has time to do much of anything,
