Matt can't do anything because of his stats. Jessica & Luke are dead weight because of no gear, low speed & skill . Danny's If is their only hope, but even that is not an option here because he couldn't even 1 shot scythe with it while morals on.

The problem is that Luke and Jessica, while they can damage her, she's too fast and too skilled for them. Her spear has the feats to suggest it can one shot Luke.
EDIT: The Iron Fist would be their best bet, but Danny isn't doing much against someone who completely tanked getting blown up directly inside a fiery truck by Scarlet Witch, and Proxima is at least as skilled as him.
Proxima has no skill or speed feats to suggest she can't be tagged by Luke or Jessica, she is durable but not to the point Danny can't damage her and both him and Matt can dance around her considering her performance again Black Widow and Okoye.
Luke and Jessica cannot tag someone who can exchange blows with Cap and Widow from 2 different angles. And she's far stronger than them too. She was making effortless multistory leaps.

Matt and Danny are both more skilled than Widow or Okoye, and much faster. Matt can dance around her and keep her occupied, especially with his senses. Jessica's best bet is to throw heavy stuff. Luke can step in while Proxima is tied up with Matt, his best bet is to disarm Proxima. If Luke can remove her staff from the equation, he can body her from there. Danny might be their best bet, he has the skill/speed to avoid getting slashed, but unlike Matt his Iron Fist can actually inflict lasting damage.
She was easily beaten by Falcon, Widow, and Cap, but she can somehow beat a team that has two people on Cap's level if not slightly superior. Then, Iron Fist who yolo stomps Cap in striking power. This isnt counting Daredevil who is like Widow.
Kind of embarrassing to see people giving the Defenders a win, let alone saying they “stomp”.
Luke and Jessica are way too slow to tag her, with Jessica being oneshot-able by any of Proxima’s weapons. Luke likewise doesn’t have the feats of dodge her spear’s blasts.
Matt isn’t going to “dance around” someone who was fighting both Cap and Widow at the same time and then Okoye and Widow at the same time and his physicals aren’t enough for someone who could rag doll Okoye and overpower Natasha. Same goes for Danny. A direct Iron Fist attack isn’t connecting, and his AOE attacks he does with them aren’tenough to KO her.
Still not surprised to see people lowball the Black Order and ignore context to their fights.
Proxima has proven enough fighting street fighter lvl characters. Luke can solo her. Daredevil can solo if it is pure dark chamber ( egyptian darkness ).
Whilst the team overall may be better than teams which contested with Proxima in IW, their abilities are too spread out for them to be able to win. It takes a combo of skill, speed and stats to take this (like Cap has.) Otherwise, whilst they might be able to hold her off like Widow/Okoye, they won't be able to do any real damage either. Luke and Jessica can hurt her but probably can't tag her. Matt can tag her but probably can't hurt her. Danny has a shot with the IF, but I just don't see him tagging her before she one-shots with the massive reach advantage that her weapon gives her.
That's before taking into account the fact that her spear can fire concussive energy blasts.
Proxima curbstomps, nice to see the Defenders getting wanked.
Get ready for Matt to get stabbed by Turk Barrett in S3. People will stay say him and Danny can dance around any other street-levellers, even when a biker pins him against a wall.
