@le0nhart: Ah yes I believe so... He was fast enough to tag and fight evenly with Genos whom has outraced his own energy blast which is mach to low hypersonic speed. Sea King also punched through a nuclear bunker which was housing citizens to keep them protected from monsters....

1 - How do you know that the bunker can withstand nuclear attacks? Do you have a scan?

2 - How do you know that Genos' blast moves at sonic or hypersonic speed?

Deep Sea King was struggling to even touch Sonic, who at the time was moving just at, and slightly above, the speed of sound. Meruem was capable of reacting and battling at supersonic speeds evenly with Netero. His durability, speed, intelligence, and strength is incredibly above the Deep Sea King's, there's no actual way he'd lose.

Genos wasn't moving at mach speed till after the Deep Sea King arc.

Nothing points to the incinerator cannon being at, or above the speed of sound. He was incapable of following Sonic, much less reacting to him, when they first encountered one another in the rain.

Sea King has better stats and would win hand to hand but should Meruem choose to simply fly out of range and blow him up there would be very little he could do.

I am aware he was casually moving at mach speed beforehand. You are ignoring the fact that Genos and Saitama were moving at mach speeds in their first fight with another......

No, it didn't. Are you basing this off of the anime's scene? There's no concrete time frame given.

It's not speculation. ONE confirmed that Sonic would have defeated the Sea King at his best with his tools, and Sonic was still successfully managing to avoid his attacks. It only surprised him how much faster and stronger he had became, but he was still much slower than Sonic.

No, they weren't. You can't provide any proof that Genos was moving at mach speeds during his battle against Saitama because there is no actual proof. This is all poor speculation, and the fact that Genos was incapable of actually following Sonic with his eyes, or unable to save both the girl and himself from the acidic spit points to him being nowhere near the speed of sound. Again, he only began approaching supersonic/hypersonic speeds after his upgrade.

Meruem takes this in a good fight.

@zzagirl: Actually, the laser hypersonic feat is taken from his laser reaching a falling meteor far faster than it could reach the ground and him being able to outrun said laser. IIRC, even the slowest meteorites are around hypersonic.

Meruem due to bloodlust. He'll probably just spam Rage Blast.

Sea King tanked a blast way more powerful than Netero's Zero Hand with a busted cheek and a lot of annoyance. I don't think Meruem could harm DSK without the rage blasts from post rose. Even then who knows, those were big AOE explosion attacks, Genos blasts are very powerful piercing energy that vaporizes most materials it comes into contact with.

Meruem wins for a few reasons for one he’s faster, as he was seen capable of keeping up with netero, who’s punch exceeds the speed of sound and was even out pacing him.

Two meruem is far more intelligent than Deep sea king as he uses intelligence in a fight and not just brute strength alone.

Three: Meruem is stronger. How much stronger is unknown, but meruem is definitely stronger and more durable than deep sea king.

Four: meruem has the ability evolve, and become infinitely stronger the more he eats. I don’t know if that’s just a natural ability or his hatsu ability.

Fifth: It’s said anyone in the presence of a nen user who doesn’t have or possess nen themselves will die so yeah if safe to say meruem stomps.

Stats seems pretty equal to me, but Mereum would probably fly out of range and spam youpi's rage blast

Meruem can tank any physical attacks that DSK can dish out just from his performance against Netero. Only thing I could probably question is his durability against acid but that can be dodged with flight.

As for his ability to attack his rage blast could easily dehydrate DSK to base. Making it easier for Meruem.

Yeah, don't see why Meruem doesn't stomp, he's being underestimated if people think he's equal in strength to the DSK.
