@biblebasher: I don't think he jobbed considering Harald is older too,it counts as a feat imo.

Of course he jobbed, this was written by Garth Ennis.
Ennis think that superheroes are garbage and that militaries are the strongest thing in the world.
You can look at how he has written the fight between The Punisher and Wolverine... Any other writer would have Franck sliced into little cubes. That's the same behaviour in Thor: Vikings. The military wins in the end. The superheroes were all written out-of-characters and jobbed.

Yeah, ennis is a good writer but he has a history of shitting on superheroes so whenever he does a story about capes & tights he often tries 2 humiliate them so take anything he has written with heroes with a grain of salt

Harald Jaekelsson, again. I don't see why Marvel never reprinted that book, it was awesome.

Iron Man is in character with 3 hours of prep time. Doesn't it change anything ?

@biblebasher: I don't think so, if Jaekelsson still has the curse from the village "wiseman", than no, there's nothing that Tony can do.

How ? He and his crew were destroyed and the curse was active.

@biblebasher: Yes, but Strange said that the only ones who could defeat Jaekelsson and his crew were the descendants of the Wiseman, who originally placed the curse. Even then they needed a potion to be able to go up against them.

I would not take everything a character written by Ennis said as face value.

@biblebasher: Yeah, I know, Jaekelsson would later make a brief appearance in another Ennis book called Kev, the title character and his buddies casually dispatch Jaekelsson.

The army completely wastes some characters in The Boys.
