Deadpool (Fox) vs Proxima Midnight (MCU)

Deadpool has his two katanas. Proxima has her spear. The fight is to the death or prolonged incapacitation. Starting distance of 10 yards.

Who wins and why?

Wade

If Deadpool's katana can pierce Proxima, then I'm going with Wade.

Deadpool destroys her. She has no speed feats to register to him.

Her spear can put down superior physically opponents given it one shot Corvus Glaive, and she has a monumental strength and skill advantage based on her fights with Wanda (whom she tanked massive hits from and displyaed strength good enough to shatter concrete and leap about 100 ft. off the ground) and Cap/Okoye/Black Widow, remaining more or less untagged by the latter 2.

She's possibly faster too, or at a bare minimum as fast, given she could go 2 on 1 with people that can content with the Black Panther, a rather casual bullet timer, or her ability to pressure the Scarlet Witch well enough (granted with a bit of context) to prevent her from putting out more high end raw power.

Did Corvus actually have any durability feats? Also, what are her speed feats/who are you scaling her to to say she has a monumental speed advantage?

He was physically contenting with Vision. He was getting slammed on concrete by him at high speeds and was tanking it no problem. He also tanked several hits from Steve's vibranium blades right in the face, so we know he also has high level piercing resistence.

Did I say speed? Nah, she has a monumental skill and strength advantage, but Wade probably has better reactions. Given her ability to fight opponents that can and have kept up with a bullet timer of Black Panther's level 2 on 1, or her ability to pressure Scarlet Witch well enough to prevent her from using more high end raw power, they should be similarly fast.

While Wade is very skilled, and he is a bullet timer;

I don't think Wade has better raw speed than Proxima, who can jump at least 30 meters distance easily and without even losing her balance during the fall, right here;

She and Corvus still managed to follow a flying Scarlet and Vision through the train station without even giving them a minute to hide.

She is also fast enough to not give any time to Wanda in close combat to ragdoll her with TK, she only ragdolled Proxima once and she was still fine, and Wanda can utilize her TK very very fast, it's fast enough to stop a C4 bomb after the explosion;

Proxima also took no damages from Wanda's TK blasts, she is very durable,

She easily matches with Cap's strength and she is also extremely agile, and keeping both Cap and Widow busy at the same time, Falcon had to cheap-shot her with a flying kick.

She later defeated Widow+Okoye at the same time, and she was going to kill both of them if not for Wanda.

Proxima has slightly above super-soldier level physical stats, and she has an alien tech weapon to shake Wade good. Proxima's spear has ranged laser blasts which is a big advantage in here. It will take time for her to deal with Wade's extremely fast healing factor, but I think she will do much better than Cable. She wins after a decent fight.

If Proxima isn't invulnerable to bladed weapons, Wade destroys her. She can't react to a single one of his sword slashes.

@erkan12: furthermore, that gif you showed of wade cutting a bullet in half is actually not a reliable feat. Wade was randomly swinging his blades around in the actual scene that a few bullets actually hit him, that was purely luck that one of the bullets managed to get cut.

Yeah maybe, he also gets shot by some of Cable's bullets, although Cable was standing like 2 meters away, it was a little close distance to deflect bullets.

As I said, Proxima is really fast, fast enough to keep both Cap and Widow busy, and Cap himself is a bullet timer already. She is physically stronger, and she has a better alien tech ranged weapon which is better than Wade's usual weaponry.

@erkan12: Can Proxima consistently bullet-time from 2 feet though? In that GIF you posted, Wade slashes his sword as fast or even faster than the bullet. She would need to react and counter his sword slashes from close range, which requires extreme speed. Does she have it?

She doesn't need to, super-soldier level reflexes are enough to deal with Wade. Cable did, and he doesn't have better speed feats than Proxima has.

Fighting Wade is a feat for Cable, not a bad feat for Wade. Just like putting Cap on the defense is a feat for Batroc, not a bad feat for Cap. Just like fighting Okoye and Widow is a feat for Proxima, not a bad feat for the duo.

Assuming that Cable has super-soldier level physical stats, yes. I doubt he has higher than that.

@erkan12: What? Cable has whatever stats Cable has, and those stats were sufficient to fight Deadpool, who can slash his sword about as fast as a bullet, as you have shown. Remember, lack of feats doesn't prove inability, so Cable cannot be used as counter-evidence to Wade's feat.

@bladeoffury: That's up to you. As far as I am concerned, Cable is super-soldier level fighter at best, as well as Ajax. You may want to think otherwise, no one will stop you.

@erkan12: So, you disagree with how feat accumulation works? What makes you say that Cable is super-soldier level at best, and not a faster combatant?

Cable and Ajax never showed any superior speed feat than what Proxima showed us. That's not disagreing with the feat accumulation, that's how it is. Wade isn't going to blitz a super-soldier level combatant (and Proxima is even slightly better), just because you think Cable is also capable of doing the same thing that Wade did with that bullet.

Proxima curbs.

@erkan12: Cable and Ajax didn't need to show any other feats. Their feat is fighting Wade, who can slice as fast as a bullet. I am not even sure why you're bringing other characters into this.

By your logic, Cap sucks because Rumlow tagged him, as Rumlow has no skill feats.

Cable fought Juggernaut, and he wasn't moving like faster than a super-soldier, in fact Cable seemed even slower than a super-soldier. No different than Domino. I was being generous by saying that Cable is as fast as a super-soldier.

Rumlow was using armor to resist Cap's hits, we already know Cap fodderized him in the elevator fight without his armor. Not a good example.

@erkan12: So, you're using visual speed to compare the fighters' combat speeds across different verses? By that logic, Mike Tyson punches faster than Cap. Problem is, human stuntmen have similar limitations, so their speed will be similar. The feats are what matter, and Cable scales from a casual bullet-timer who can slash his sword at super-sonic speeds.

The elevator fight is actually what I'm referring to. Rumlow dodged Cap's punch and landed two tasers. Cap wouldn't have made it out of that elevator if Brock had blades on him. According to your logic, Cap is now slow and skill-less, since he was tagged multiple times by a featless character. According to logic, tagging Cap is a feat for Rumlow, not a bad feat for Cap.

The problem with that feat is it's not consistent. Wade gets shot by some of Cable's bullets, so you can't actually go and say Wade can utilize that speed all the time. That's one thing,

Also stop with that ''your logic'' thing, you're literally twisting the words I say. I never say this is the logic or that should be the logic, I am telling you what I think, then you say ''so your logic'' nonsense, just stop.

So what we've here;

- Juggernaut, Cable, Ajax, none of them showed any super-sonic speed feats. And they were able to fight with Deadpool. You can't go and say that's their feat, if that was just one guy, it's ok, but you can't say all of these 3 have that speed just because they fought with Wade. That's a feat against Wade when the people he fought is more than 1.

- Wade get shot by some of Cable's bullets, he isn't always consistent with that.

- Proxima showed better speed feats than Juggernaut, Cable and Ajax did. And she is consistent with that. And she performed much better against far stronger opponets than Wade ever faced (Scarlet Witch).

I can't take that Rumlow example seriously, one of Cap's hand was handicapped and even then Rumlow failed to take Cap down with a taser, he was no match even when he had 10 men helping him in that fight. Stop using irrelevant examples.

Wade literally has no advantages outside of reaction speed.
