He was getting absolutely dominated by Batman in the mech suit because his speed was completely gone and he had no skill whatsoever to back on. DCEU Superman without a speed advantage means you've got a farmboy from Kansas with no training and 1-3 fights worth of experience who only knows how to throw telegraphed haymakers, he loses to the following characters:

DCEU: Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Orm

MCU: Thor, Thanos, Wanda

Supes is still stronger and probably more durable, however, he is woefully outskilled here. Pure H2H I'd say Supes after a beating but with sword Thanos trashes.

Aquamans trident can pierce Superman, it pierced Steppenwolfs armor that tanked Wonder Womans sword and we already know WWs sword>kryptonians

@ccthor: Piercing durability is dumb, if your body can not be destroyed by a nuke then you are really hard to pierce.

But GAU Avenger rounds are several feet long and Clark tanked those. Vibranium has no feats on that level.

Speed equalized gives it to Thanos he just stabs Superman his sword can block Heat vision and he can take Superman's punches long enough to get a shot in and one shot is all it takes.

This is spite. Heat vision wont do anything (thanos tanks sells lightning,snapped twice, and held power gem). Superman also wont hit that hard without speed, definitely not harder than mjolnir which thanos was soaking up against cap.

speed is equalized so thanos should win he's defiantly stronger and is a much much better fighter. he can block and react to sups heat vision like he did with ironman's repulser beams. yeah sups can fly but so could ironman and captain marvel, captain marvel being much faster than ironman. and he through his sword faster than she could fly. it won't be a walk in the park, but thanos should ultimately win.
