Tony...
DCEU Superman vs Current Iron Man
Is that Comic Book Iron man vs DCEU Superman?
Yes. It's Iron Man with his current version of his suit.
This is such a dumb thread. Literally the entire conceit of Tony upgrading his armors is that he takes the power and utilities of his previous suits and expands upon them. Saying that we can only use his current armor feats is stupid. Either way, Tony completely stomps the bonus round
So.....he loses then?
Also lol at Tony's current armor being any better than Bleeding Edge or Extremis. I made this thread as a way to find out how powerful Tony is now, and I'm really not getting any feats for him whatsoever, which is disappointing
@mister_surreal: He has no feats to suggest he can even hurt Iron Man. Confidently claiming a character wins when they don't know anything about Iron Man is even more embarrassing and doesn't make you look objective.
@diarrhearegatta: Read post #24.
The statue loses.

Marvel Wiki? Not a great source, it's pretty inconsistent in terms of info. I don't even know why he'd have Extremis if he not only purged it out of his system, but got better tech later on.
Interesting battle, I can't really recall any good feats for Tony's suits since his resurrection after CW2.
Can someone post actual arguments instead of just saying its a mismatch or its "sad"? Like if its such a bad mismatch it should be easy to prove or are some comic debaters so stubborn they can't admit when a comic debater loses to an LA character?

Well for one his blasts were able to penetrate Fin Fang Foom's hide[1-2], which even Wolverine's claws couldn't do[3-4].
His armor also protected him from Foom's tail swipe [4] which has one-shotted Cho Hulk [5]. And to fair his armor was damaged from that, but he was still able to carry on the fight using his nano-suits and was still fully conscious.
There's also scaling the current armor beside Aaron's Avengers team, as he was performing about as well against Underwater Namor as Thor, She-Hulk (who is seriously amped right now), and Carol Danvers were.
The armor is new and Dan Slott has mostly focused on plot so far in his run; he's mostly fought fodder. However, his armor has many of the same abilities as previous ones, that includes nanobot assimilation/shape-shifting [1] and plasma swords [2], so it stands to reason that he's just doubled down on his previous armor schematics and therefore would have most of the same stats and abilities.
DCEU Superman does not have the feats to suggest he could do anything.
@noone1996: I thought this was MCU Ironman. Sorry about that. In this case it’s a stalemate because of Superman’s speed advantage.
@diarrhearegatta: It also looks exactly like the Extremis armor:
This is from the last issue of Tony Stark: Iron Man issue 7.
These are confirmed Extremis armors:
....they look exactly the same. Marvel Wiki only confirms it.
@mister_surreal: 616 Iron Man would have no problems tagging him.

That doesn't mean they are the same. Extremis was merged with Tony's body. His current armor is not:
@asphaltairborne: This is from Tony Stark: Iron Man issue 1:
Under Slott's pencil, he blasted Fin Fang Foom scream out in pain from his repulsors and even managed to bloody him. He opens up his skin so much that he's even to fit that briefcase into Foom's bloodstream. This is a character that has fought Hulk, Fantastic Four, Amadeus Cho Hulk, Drax, Terrax, and even tanked a hit from Thor. This alone is enough to suggest that he could one-shot DCEU Superman.
He also took on Frank Castle wearing the War Machine armor:
Under this writer, War Machine's casual repulsors were capable of hurting Cannonball (a guy that no-sold a mountain shaking explosion which registered as a 3.5 on the Richter scale miles away), was capable of making Thing grunt out in pain after flying into him, and withstood several angry hits from Ms. Marvel. I realize that scaling probably isn't something the OP intended for, but this is essentially all he's got aside from blasting fodder in the newest Avengers run and getting wrecked by an amped underwater Namor.
@noone1996: Hey, If that's all he has, then I ain't complaining.
At least I got some feats and scans at last, lol
@noone1996: Speed feats?
@drago666: No, the Bleeding-Edge armor was merged into his body. Extremis wasn't:
It flies to him.
Now, I'm not saying that Iron Man has Extremis again as there is no evidence of that, but that's definitely the armor he's wearing. There's no denying that. Even the Wiki describes it as such. It's definitely an older armor and in no way a newer one. The writers were probably just too lazy to build a story or explanation around him making a new Iron Man suit, so they just recycled an old one which resembled a suit that looks familiar enough to most people.
@noone1996: OK I get what your saying. I was thinking of the undersheath that was merged with Tony when he uploaded extremis. As for the armor marvel wiki is written by regular people. So there opinion isn't actually credible. Also it could just be an armor that looks like extremis.
@drago666: Yeah he hasn't shown the undersheath at all so that's a good point. I agree that he doesn't have the Extremis virus. It looks EXACTLY like his extremis armor. If anything, it could be his Pentagon armor, but even that looked a lot less similar to his Model 29 than what we see in the current Iron Man comics.
@mister_surreal: Well War Machine in Punisher's armor was capable of reacting to and pretty much outspeeding a blitz from Ms. Marvel from about 10 feet away and Tony had no troubles dealing with him speed-wise like I showed in post 70:
Carol is massively hypersonic in travel speed too. She's flown massive distances in space within moments. Undoubtedly faster than DCEU Superman.
@noone1996: That is impressive but I wouldn’t say faster by a long shot. We have seen DCEU Superman fly from Earth to outer space in matter of seconds.
@mister_surreal: Has he flown from the moon to Earth this fast?
@noone1996: It guess fastsest armor would outpace Superman in terms of distance. What about combat speed?
@mister_surreal: You're not getting it. War Machine reacted to a blitz from Ms. Marvel who is fast enough to fly from the moon to Earth in moments. So that's reaction speed.
@noone1996: Right, I missread that.
Omg. Omg. People are such idiots! How does DCEU Superman beat iron man with prep! Do you realize that iron man recently created the Phoenix force suit in less than 2 weeks and owned the Phoenix for a couple of panels!! So how the hell is superman, especially DCEU superman gonna beat him. I understand if ppl say superman can beat tony in his regular suit but ppl saying DCEU Superman can beat iron man! That’s a no no.
@cucco123: feats?
@cucco123: feats?
Hmmm lasers ? High sound waves ? Restraining devices which easily bothered Thanos ?
Such obvious bait.
@cucco123: Thanos wasn't really bothered by that stuff tho, proof?
@soratoumiga: Who wins?
@takenstew22: Tony was unable to bust a steel door recently....is that enough to defeat Clark?
@takenstew22: Tony was unable to bust a steel door recently....is that enough to defeat Clark?
Is he really that weak now?
@mattyboi: with what feats?
@professorrespect: Blasts that could bloody fin fang foom, who could tank a hit from Thor, this would effortlessly one shot supes.
@mattyboi: Fin Fang Foom beat up recent Tony's armour tho
