OP - Steppenwolf would maul him, Billy isn’t nearly ready enough to face a war god like wolf who was smashing the JL pre superman and even tanked a lot of Clark’s hits.

Billy has future potential though clearly.

Even though he was heroic by the end of the Film I think a big 9ft? demonic god would likely revert him back to wanting to run away.

Stepphenwolf would win, honestly Billy is below 616 Spider-Man in terms of feats by a huge margin.

@finalkingthanos: This is the problem with statements. The statement about magic being the only thing that can hurt/kill them is consistently supported throughout the movie by showings. The only problem is there is no way to verify whether or not the statement is true due to the lack of non-magic based characters in the movie. Sivana also said that weapons of MAN can’t draw blood from them. So does that statement mean that if it isn’t MANMADE it can draw blood?

Billy is more powerful but he isn't competent enough with his powerset to win at this point

Shazam is likely more powerful but Steppenwolf has better feats. He was prepared to solo Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg by himself with all their weapons which I doubt Billy could do.

Billy should come in just like Clark did. Not as easily but clearly way above Wolf's paygrade

He was axe/sword-fighting with Wonder Woman, who has far better speed feats than Billy.

He no-sold an Amazonian temple crashing on top of him, which surpasses any of Billy's durability feats.

He tanked energy blasts from Cyborg, who could bring down buildings almost instantly, so Billy's lightning won't do any better.

The only thing Shazam has on his level is strength, but it's not enough to compensate the gap in the other areas.

Claiming that Billy can beat Steppenwolf just because of what Superman did doesn't make any sense. Superman would completely stomp Billy by feats.

Shazam wins, better in every way
