Thor is mighty, but he is no match for the bullet-timing more Mighty Adam!
With just trailer feats, even Widow could solo
Ah yes, forgot when Widow could reduce normal human men to a fried skeleton then casually crush their necks, oh yeah and also no-sell bullets and catch one casually as well.

Adam is mighty, but he is no match for the God of Thunder!
Expect nothing less from you attributing this massively overrated feat to Thor alone.
OT way too soon..
@morningstar999: how or why?
I said before when Love and Thunder comes out, this place is gonna be 🔥. And then when Black Adam comes out, it’s gonna be more 🔥.
I’m just waiting for the 💥.
Too soon to tell
But to add on to this, he's going to need some serious feats to even stand a chance (especially if he's going to just be Shazam's rival)

@sagathelegend: how?
Better feats

Thor and Iron Man provided all the power themselves. Iron Man's power was used for the heat seal. Trust him!

The fact that people still attribute this feat to Thor after like 10 years is honestly one of the funniest things I've seen this month on CV.
Not enough feats. That electric touch won't be enough to kill Hulk or Tony, and it won't even tickly Thor, and speed alone, even though it seems for now he can statue the Avengers team, won't give him victory.
He needs more feats. But I suppose he will be able to win this matchup when the movie comes out.

People attribute it to Thor because the evidence attributes it to Thor, and evidence is king here, not headcanon.

Yeah yeah, sure, nice troll attempt. Of course, Tony had nothing to do with that explosion. Also the vibranium magnet that was holding the whole meteor together falling apart also had nothing to do with it. It just exactly what this GIF shows - Thor busting a meteor sized piece of dirt all on his own. That's exactly it.
Lmao. Nice troll attempt. Like I said, after 10 years, still? That's hilarious. Makes my day!

Tony powered the heat seal to contain and prevent the explosion from causing collateral damage, though Cap 3 proves that it wasn't completely successful. If Green Lantern seals an explosion caused by Superman and Darkseid blowing up Imperiex, did he contribute to the explosion?
The vibranium did not fall apart. It was shown to be completely intact. This is the sort of headcanon I'm talking about.
Anyways I posted the proof up in post 27.
@rajjarsalt: Bruh there is nothing at post 27 that proves your absurd interpretation of this feat. What you posted says EXACTLY what I was saying. Thor didn't provide the energy, your own text GIF says explicitly that it was TONY AND THOR who did that. And it also says they channeled the energy to the "vibranium drill" specifically to achieve the results that they wanted.
Doesn't that mean Thor can't replicate this feat on a meteor like this if there was no vibranium drill, even with the help of Tony?
Like I said, posting that GIF anywhere and suggesting this is Thors feat is absurd and just ridiculous. Thor can't bust a meteor that size. He needs Tony to help him dish out enough energy, and he needs a vibranium drill to channel his energy or what not. Either way, this should only be posted with context, or at the very least, you should direct people to a proper calculation. Doing what you're doing, posting Thor busting a meteor and pretending like that's all there is to this feat - THAT'S headcanon.
@rajjarsalt: Quit bullshitting yourself guy. If this was Thor alone, IW Thor with stormbreaker should've one shotted everyone in Wakanda with that similar attack.

Can you tell me with a straight face that Tony sealing the explosion should count as part of the blast energy? That doesn't make sense. Channeling it through the drill only proves the explosion belongs to Thor, as the energy meeting Tony's heat seal from inside the spire is Thor's as shown in the diagram. That also proves the function of the seal. If it was not functioning in this manner, Thor's lightning energy would not have stopped in the center of the spire.
It would have left the other end, as Tony wouldn't have "capped" it. Trust visuals!
It's not even about busting the meteor. It's about stopping its momentum. Sokovia's re-entry velocity gets negged and the only force acting on the remaining pieces of it is the force of gravity. Trust visuals!
Moreover it is made clear in the film that the reason Tony chooses to contain the explosion with a heat seal is because Thor hitting it will lead to catastrophic fallout per his AI FRIDAY. Capping the other end, sealing the blast, all this is necessary to, when put in fictional terms, reduce an explosions DC, which increases its AP. That takes out Sokovia in the air without an explosive shockwave propelling city block sized meteors (compare Sokovia's chunks prior to the big flash) into nearby European countries.

IW Thor cleaved a blast from all 6 Infinity Stones and he plowed through that giant ship that could no-sell re-entry and Wakandan weapons. Not to mention he spun a forge said to be moon-sized. And he took the full force of a star per an expert source who is more credible than anyone on this site.
Also your expectation of Thor's consistency is memes since you think clowns like Mordru can defeat Galactus and that Perpetua, who exhausted her powers with a ~star level explosion, can erase TOAA himself with a wave of her hand.

All the more reason his Wakanda stormbreaker ground slam should've fried everyone within at least 2k radius. But all it managed was 50 meters? "No-selling reentry" is that supposed to be some grandiose feat? Our 60 year old moon mission spacecraft did just that. Also, Motherfucker was on the cusp of death if not DED from the "full force of a star". Let's not pretend like he walked away fine after a 10 minute backyard suntan.

Mordru is more than capable of beating Marvels biggest Jobber Galactus, but Perpetua vs Toaa? not so much. Are you digging through my post history? I don't remember saying those.
STORMBREAKER cleaved a blast from all 6 Infinity Stones and STORMBREAKER plowed through that giant ship that could no-sell re-entry and Wakandan weapons. Not to mention ROCKETS SHIP with the help of thor acting as an anchor shouting "more power rabbit" spun a forge said to be a really small moon-sized 5km in diameter at best. And he took the full force of a miniature star that is a couple of km in diameter per an expert source who is more credible than anyone on this site.
Fixed.
Movie ain't out yet dumba$$
Thor one shots, Hulk two shots, Widow outskills, Steve throws a shield at his throat, Hawkeye shoots him in the eye, Tony vaporizes, Wanda mind wipes, Quicksilver turns him into bloody mush by running into him.
And here I was beginning to think after the last thread I was in yesterday that the DCEU gets wanked more.

She can hurt SS tiers with her Widow's bite and their dura is beyond that feat.

Last time I checked SS weren't bullet proof. Granted, their blunt force feats are above what we consider bullet level, but to say their durability in general is above Adam's based on Adam being bullet proof is faulty. And given that the Widow's bite only stuns them, and that they don't produce electricity from their bodies already, I really don't see it being enough based off the trailer.
