Rey uses the force to stab Aquaman with his trident

Aquaman needs water to make this more fair. Fighting a force user will be difficult. A lightsaber isn't something he can tank either.

Lightsabers have become a joke. They hardly injure people anymore. Finn tanked it and Kylo tanked it, Arthur would as well.

Rey is about to 1v1 Sidious.

Rey should win, Aquaman will have trouble against the force. The lightsaber would hurt too.

@Aristeaus: Yep.. I really think they’re gonna do it. We all need to prepare for it. Writers don’t care too much about power levels or established feats when it comes to stories. Rey is the hero and Palpatine is the villain.. she’s gonna beat him. This forum is gonna lose its shit.

@thesuperor: In both instances only the tip hit. IIRC they get their best feat from TLJ whete rey cuts/melts a thick stone near instantly.

Its hard to say. With bloodlust AM can one shot with a trident throw. In character i dont think Rey would try to fry a hero and AM wont try to kill her either so idk.

I made the thread so I can’t say if I think one of them wins or not, but I can say that imo Aquaman’s armor can take a few lightsaber hits, but the one she fights with cut through a massive hunk of stone so it couldn’t take much. On the flip side, Rey can take a hit from the trident.

It comes down to if Rey can break his trident or use the force to pin him down

Rey isn’t incompetent, she beat Kylo and killed multiple of Snoke’s elite guards. Aquaman’s trident will break in contact with a light saber and she will stab him. Or, since she moved hundreds of tons of rocks at the end of last Jedi, she could just throw him really high into the air and slam him back down

It is a toss up in my opinion. Arthur is MUCH stronger & MUCH more durable than her. If he gets his hands on her she is done. But Rey could just use the force on him & then it's rag doll city.

The problem is she has never used the force in combat. Not against Kylo, Luke, Snoke, or the Praetorian Guards. She prefers to go straight to stabby stabby, slashy slashy. So then it will come down to whether Arthur's trident can tank a lightsaber or not. Which I think it could simply because there are apparently (thanks Fallen Order) quite a few animals with skin that can resist a lightsaber.

Basically: Trident vs Lightsaber - Arthur wins. Rey actually uses the force - Rey wins

I don't think force ragdoll would do anything other than mildly annoy Aquaman. Rey's force feats don't go above just several tons while AM took 100s-1000s+ of ton impacts like bullrushing into solid rock and getting smacked by Karathen.

Rey, but Aquaman lowkey has a chance. I think any EU force user stomps him though.

@nwname: True. After I wrote that I started to realize that throwing him around won't do much. So the only way she beats him is stabing him with her saber. Hmmm, I am revising my outcome and saying that Arthur outright wins.
