- Aquaman has the king's trident
- Round 1 on land round 2 on water
You said that she can't do anything to Arthur when she easily can, even then she tanks anything anyway. My comment isn't hard to understand...
Finally saw the movie.
I would say Aquaman did show some decent reactions avoiding gunfire and the second grenade launch on the sub. Both seem similarly skilled to me.
The speed on the trident defense seemed solid and he shouldn't have any issues blocking Hela with it.
I don't buy the level of durability some people give Hela, Aquaman seems to have pretty solid durability in his armor.
The problem is that Hela fighting Thor puts her strength high in comparison. Lifting the sub was impressive but I cannot see him matching the Thor or Hela in strength.
Aquanan in the water. He has numbers and possibly the Karaquan, and a mobility advantage.
Hela on land. Blocking her attacks does nothing if a person isn't powerful enough to actually block the attacks. He needs more strength feats.
She can be pierced, but her healing factor is too much. Thor stabbed her with Gungnir, and it didn't slow her down at all. Maybe if Arthur stabs her in the head, but I can't see him doing that to someone as skilled as Hela. The water shield might fend off some of Hela's smaller spears, but the ones she used against Surtur is giant. Plus they have good range.
@ashrym: The problem with the durability argument is kind of null though. Hela get's stabbed a couple times in the movie and it doesn't do anything but get more people killed. I mean, she doesn't even bleed, she just glows, and then most likely stabs your nonhealing not apparently made of energy ass right in the face.
