You sure? I distinctly remember Base Broly at his peak stomping SSJG Goku and going toe to toe with Blue, I thought it'd be a good fight.

Broly wins round 1 with ease and stomps rounds 2 and 3. Current Goku and Vegeta are far stronger than they're in the ToP. Base enraged Broly stomped SSG Goku and SSG Vegeta and was stalemating SSB Goku, who had seemingly achieved a new blue form. SSJ Broly stomped SSB Goku and Vegeta and flew right through their combined Gallick/Kamehameha attack like it was nothing, then curbstomped Golden Frieza who was stated to be far stronger now for nearly 30 minutes. Full Power SSJ Broly no sold a punch to the face from SSJ Gogeta and punched him away effortlessly, then tanked massive punishment from SSB Gogeta.

IMO, full power Broly was on par with blue Gogeta in terms of raw power. He just didn't know how to use his power effectively. And as seen in the movie, the more he learned how to use his power, the better he fought.

Broly stomps all rounds, Goku & Vegeta who was fighting Broly are way stronger than during T.o.P

Where is everyone getting the idea that Goku and Vegeta are way stronger than they were in the ToP? Vegeta mentions that the events of the movie take place very shortly after the ToP.

Broly should take 1 and stomp 2 and 3 in an ungodly mismatch.

Broly takes the first round mid-high difficulty. He stomps the other rounds though.

@huthimamwa: Vegeta only states that the ToP wasn’t that long ago, but it’s been at least several months. This is proven by Bulla, as she was only days old when the ToP happened and she only had a tiny gift of hair. In this film she has a full head of hair and tied into small pigtails. Her hair couldn’t grow that much in just a few days.

Round 1: could go either way since both are slightly below current SSB Goku/Vegeta.

Round 2: super saiyan Broly could beat SSB Goku and Vegeta at the same time, but it took SSBE Vegeta to beat GoD Toppo, plu Toppo has hakai, so I would go with Toppo.

Edit: You could argue since Goku and Vegeta admitted to needing fusion, and individually they should be able to beat GoD Toppo at this time, it means ssj Broly should easily beat GoD Toppo.

Round 3: Broly stomps.

How do we know they got way stronger? Vegeta mentions it hasn't been long. What feats or statements does Broly Saga ToP Goku have to stomp God Toppo, who was above Pre-Rageboost SSBE Vegeta?

Broly every round. Toppo is on par with SSB. Ikari Broly was besting them and was still getting stronger. Broly was also taking virtually no damage, because he's that damn tough.

This was with the green aura, if you've seen the movie. He didn't beat both SSB goku and vegeta at once in ikari though.

I've seen the movie, but I didn't see where Base Broly bested SSB Goku.

I agree Broly should win 1, but he didn't best SSB Goku while in Ikari, and he was even with Goku, with Goku potentially having the upperhand.

@karkus: And once again, nobody said Base Broly = SSB. And Goku only had the skill advantage against Ikari Broly, but Goku was completely incapable of causing Broly any damage while Broly's attacks were only getting fiercer.

I don't get why people can't understand that anime does not equal manga.

SSBE and SSBKKx20 don't exist in the manga, so if we put manga SSB at the same level of anime SSB Toppo wins round 1 and 2.

Base Broly was able to beat the sh*t out of SSJB Vegeta and Goku individually, he's already a match for Base Toppo. Stalemate.

SSJ Broly was able to keep up with SSJB Goku and Vegeta at the same time, GoD Toppo is slightly more powerful. Toppo wins.

LSS Broly washed Goku and Vegeta so hard they needed to fuse into drip god Gogeta, Toppo got overwhelmed by Vegeta. Broly stomps.

@kingxix:SSB Goku didn't stomp Top, he only managed to slightly ruin Top's uniform with a point blank Warp Kamehameha and was about to use Kaioken before Grand Priest stopped the fight.

SSB Goku and Vegeta wouldn't have scratched Destroyer Form Top either. Even SSBE Vegeta was getting his ass kicked and needed a resolve boost (which is a HUGE power up for Vegeta) to surpass Top.

@jack_hart: wtf are we watching the same series. Goku literally blitzes him and renders his one arm useless. Serious ssb goku could already beat him. This is proven further when toppo was barraged by a weakened golden frieza and 17 he couldn't so much and at that time be had to transform into his god form.

That is a hypothetical thing to say. We don't know if they couldn't surpass him or not. And ssbe vegeta was on the same level of goku ssbkk. And what broly fought was a post tournament arc goku and vegeta who were far stronger and overwhelmed them in just his ssj form and made them run away scared. Whereas vegeta was confidant in himself to defeat toppo himself.

@kingxix: I watched the fight. Top fought evenly with SSB Goku, tanked a point blank Kamehameha and made Goku bring out Kaioken. Freeza and 17 literally sandwiched Top in their blasts, not even SSB Goku's taking that unscathed.

If Vegeta needed a resolve boost on top of SSBE to surpass Destroyer Form Top (not to mention a Final Explosion to eliminate him) then there's no way regular SSB Goku and Vegeta are surpassing Destroyer Form Top. There's no evidence to suggest that Goku and Vegeta made substantial gains since the ToP, especially since Goku was still treating the ToP fighters like a big deal at the start of the movie.

1. Either way or Toppo in a very hard fight. Broly is more tenacious, but Toppo is a very smart fighter. Depends on how Toppo plays his cards, really.

2. Toppo handily. Being marginally better than 2 SSBs is simply worse than what Toppo has displayed. Meanwhile, Toppo is on the level of SSBE Vegeta, and Vegeta needed to be enraged in order to obtain any sort of advantage.

3. Either way or Toppo. I honestly don't see why are people hyped on Broly's final form, when his best feat is being somewhat better than SSJ Gogeta and being systematically outclassed by Gogeta Blue. Not to mention, given how LSSJ is scaled (see Kale), the difference between SSJ and LSSJ is simply much smaller compared to SSJ and godly transformations. Broly's strength is difficult to evaluate given the circumstances, but it should make a good fight regardless.

Funny thing to note here is that GoD Toppo and LSSJ Broly are very similar fighters. Both are untrained brutes who operate like blunt instruments in battle - which makes them very easily exploitable by competent fighters if those fighters are anywhere near them in terms of power. Would be a very boring fight to watch, honestly.

1. Toppo wins high difficulty. He should be a bit stronger or equal (depending on how you interprets his feats) and is a far smarter fighter.

2. Toppo obliterates. He oneshotted Golden Frieza and defeated 17 in less than a minute. Meanwhile Broly needed one hour to beat Frieza and Goku and Vegeta only fused after Piccolo told them that there were no senzu, meaning that they were confident in being able to hold him off if they were fresh, suggesting that SS1 Broly is not significantly above SSB level. Meanwhile Toppo held the upperhand against SSBE Vegeta (who is 20x stronger than a SSB) and only lost when he became enraged and even then Vegeta needed to almost self destruct to win.

3. Broly stomps, he went from being weaker than SS1 Gogeta to being above SSG Gogeta, which is a much bigger gap than the one between GoD Toppo and SSB. He was also stated to be potentially above a god of destruction, putting him on Jiren's level.
