Darthjhawk's 2017 Search and Destroy Mission Tournament! Sign Ups (12/16)(On hold For Now)

So in celebration of my reaching 1k posts, (yay!) I decided that I wanted to use that time and host a tournament of my own. But instead of just any random tourney, I wanted to make it a bit more exciting. Well here goes!

Foreword:

Ever wonder what it would feel like if you could take Batman and put him in Call of Duty? How about Solid Snake? Well here is your chance. In my first tournament you will be creating teams of three to face off against your opponents own team in a search & destroy style matchup. Just like in any Call of Duty match, your objective here is to either find and eliminate your opponents teams or destroy their objective.

Rules:

• Looking for 8 participants total for now. Will definitely up the number if people are interested
• Participants should have at least 1 CAV or Tourney match under their belts.
• Please select a team of three characters, and one perk to accompany said team. There will be the option to change perks after each round
• Victory is achieved through two different means:
  1. The Death,KO, or Incapacitation of the enemy team
  2. Your team is able to destroy the enemy team's objective
• DC Characters are Post-Crisis/Post-Flashpoint/Rebirth unless specified differently, Marvel is standard 616 versions unless stated differently. Manga and Anime characters will be composite. Video Games are composite, Movies/Films are live action/comics
• All gear will be standard unless specified, and can not, and should not break limits. If a character has limited appearances, they can use whichever gear they appeared with
• No Battlefield Removal of any kind
• Teams are in character and will have a week of training together to develop decent teamwork.
• Overall, one month for matches, would prefer if you leave room for others if you do not have the time to participate.
• If you feel that I need to change anything LMK and we can discuss it.

Power Limitations:

• No Intangibility or Tele-Dismemberment/Frag, Misdirection.
• No Soul Manipulation.
• No Reality Warping/Time Manipulation.
• No Offensive Telepathy except for on fodder or summons.
• Energies will not be equalized here.
• Characters should not be able to easily defeat 616 Spider-Man

Character Selections:

After some deliberation and getting advice from others, I decided to take a risk and make character selection free choice as long as its within limits.

• As said before, characters should not be able to easily defeat 616 Spider-Man so this should be anywhere from Street Level to Low-Mid
• If you feel that someone is trying to sneak in a character above limits, please let them or me know.
• I will try and have as open of a mind and as honest as possible, so I ask you do the same for me

Perk Selection:

Remember, select only one perk per match. There will be an option to change after every round.

• Basic Knowledge & Non-Standard Gear (Should not break limits, and should have more than one showing)
• Morals Off
• Full knowledge & 1 hour prep time on the battlefield
• Mind Link & Perfect Teamwork
• Adamantium Weapons
• Location: You pick the COD map and get a basic layout of the area

Avalon gives Kerry a healing factor, allows him to do things like recover from a destroyed heart instantly, also lets him use square accel, wheras he normally can't

@darthjhawk: Hmmm, would a composite class Commander Shepard, as well as Obidiah Archer be allowed? I've got a sweet idea for a team

Also, does full knowledge extend to fellow team members as well, or just our opponents team?

How often would you be using Avalon mid-fight? My only concern is if it is overly spammable

Those two should be fine from what I know.

Just opponents, I did say however in the OP that teams have a week of training together to develop teamwork. That would include how powers work, skills, etc.

Kerry can't spam Avalon. It just gives him a healing factor, albeit a really good one, also lets him use higher level time alter magic since the strain of doing it without Avalon would kill him

@darthjhawk: Well, it mainly just gives Kiritsugu a slightly below wolverine healing factor and access to square accel which puts deadly strain on him without it.

@darthjhawk: Just a question. You said that the character cannot easily beat Spider-Man. So like, is that for one character or all 3 charathers together? If the 3 characters together could stomp Spidey then it's a no-no?

Can I take Oz Vessalius? Without his monster form and destruction aura, he should be within limits. I do plan on taking Equus using the "non-standard equipment" perk. I just want to make sure that that's allowed before I choose him. Oz alone (with the aforementioned limitations) could fight evenly with Spidey, but if has Equus in his shadow I think Spidey would get overwhelmed.

@darthjhawk: I really want to, but I doubt ill have enough time. And I just now started reading Deathstroke comics, love 'em.

I meant an individual character should not be able to stomp spidey, if the team does that's fine.
