Vader can win if he abuses the Force but otherwise he loses.

Prime Vader steamrolls the B Team

Two are borderline featless, and kit Fisto can't take on Vader on his own. Going by reputation, all of them together should be able to at least hold their own against Vader, who is not as fast as sidious, but has both a great defense and overwhelming offense.

Vader however can thrash them with the force, so-

Massive mismatch. Any single Council Master here would hardpress Vader, he can't take two of them, much less all three.

Vader in Canon has struggled or been pressed by/with Jedi of equal or inferior caliber (i.e Kirak Infil'a, post-prime Eeth Koth, Rebels Ahsoka) to the 3 present here. He dies every time.

@void_reborn: That's a yikes. Vader did not struggle against Ahsoka at all for one, and two canon Vader isn't struggling against featless Jedi and Kit Fisto.

His dueling and force feats far exceed any of these three. Especially in his prime. He was already a match for all 3 as Anakin Skywalker.

Gave them Mace so it can be a match.

I never said he struggled against Ahsoka. I said he had struggled with or been pressed by those Jedi. I never even said hardpressed either, simply pressed. He was dominating that fight for the most part but Ahsoka did manage well and pushed him on his backfoot once or twice. That being said, there are 3 Jedi here with accolades above her.

I never said he wasn't, but when you look at his consistent feats against Jedi post-Order 66 they aren't fantastically impressive. I can see him losing to this trio.

Is it a Joke?

Canon Vader vs Average single Council member would be a stomp.

Eeth Koth stalemated him in sabers in 14 BBY. While Vader obviously would have improved, it's hard to quantify exactly by how much.

Saesee is featless in canon and gets oneshot, Kolar is featless as well and dies immediately, Fisto puts up a fight and dies.

Average Council members are implied to be Grievous level, able to challenge him:

Heck, the average Jedi Master is reputed to be Grievous level, or DD Ventress level(she's more or less equal with TCW s5-s6 Anakin):

Do you believe that Vader could compete with 3 of General Grievous? 3 of late-TCW Anakin? I don't. He's struggled against:

• Eeth Koth
• Ahsoka Tano(peer of past-prime Maul)
• Ben Kenobi
• Commander Karbin

Canon Vader struggled with Eeth Koth as it is. And he was out of practice (i.e. not in his prime). Someone like Kit Fisto alone would be a pretty neck-and-neck match. The other two seal the deal for sure.

Then why does Vader routinely struggle against Grievous tiers?

This pretty much boils down to whether or not one thinks Disney Canon Anakin is as powerful as Lucas Canon Anakin.

If you do: then Darth Vader wins because there have been multiple statements made saying he's more powerful in the suit than he ever was out of it.

If you think Disney Canon Anakin is weaker: then there is a good chance he loses due to having so-so suit feats which could be chalked up to him being simply weaker as Anakin now than he was 15 years ago in Canon.

They all die horribly

Kit Fisto alone could give Vader a decent match. Adding in two other Jedi masters, featless as they may be, and they win in a good fight.

Vaapad doesn't give Mace any kind of advantage in Canon. Even in Legends, its advantage is taken out of context. Mace is a far better swordsman than Vader by feats and he's ~ Sidious in power. Vader still hasn't been confirmed nor shown to be ~ ROTS Sidious in power, let alone saber skill.

@reaperace: lol no. Don’t treat Fisto like a non-factor and Mace is definitely capable of dueling Vader on his own (even if he likely loses).
