Spite? Darth Vader has the feats to solo the verse. Luffy is decimated within seconds. Vader is not only stronger but he’s way faster and has WAAAAAAY to many hax.

I have heard Vader has some pretty crazy showings in the comics so dunno really.

Luffy destroys Vader. SWs fans rely heavily on hyperbolic text/non-primary sources of canon. We don't give any other verse the amount of leeway we give SWs to pick and choose feats and ignore primary source.

I've read the comics and he haven't really shown anything impressive tbh. Don't know much about EU Vader but i've heard that he's not that much stronger compared to canon version. What have he done in EU that puts him so far above Luffy

Movie Vader, Video Game Vader, and Cartoon Vader don't stand a chance against Luffy in a fight. Only his EU counterpart could decimate the rubber man in a fight.

This respect thread shows some his best feats in EU. EU Vader mainly wins due TP hax, and his ridiculous TK Force abilities like crushing flying tie fighters, and his insane reaction speed with force augmentation makes him get the speed edge over Luffy, Luffy is getting blitzed. Also he is stated by George Lucas to be around 80% of Sidious’ power. Also Sidious compared DE Luke to Vader “saying he has the potential to far surpass him” which implies Vader is comparable to DE Luke (the strongest Jedi ever) so he’s ridiculously strong, especially with statements. His right hand has a sith amulet that makes his hand invincible to all damage including the Death Star exploding. He also has crazy high force potential (primarily due to his chosen one status), and through his anger, rage and hate he gets stronger in a fight considerably.

The only Vader with a chance is legends with high end feats any other version loses

I honestly don't see why Luffy wouldn't beat canon Vader easily. He's way faster than him and even if he manage to get a hold of him with the force. Luffy is durable and is made of rubber. A jedi who was force-choked by Vader briefly manage to make a move. I don't see why Luffy wouldn't do the same.

You forget this post doesn't specify the version of Vader. He force crushes his heart or brain. He force dominates him. Uses force fear.

You can struggle but it's Vader that chooses to let you go and last I checked Luffy has no force powers to actually combat him. Nor do I believe he has the energy output of a lightning storm which did nothing but knock Vader to a knee. A full lightning storm at point blank range.

According to the battle forums rules. We're using canon version since no version was specified.

When there is no information, we use these as the default battle conditions:

• Fighting to the best of their abilities, within their normal ethical / moral boundaries.
• No prep, no prior knowledge.
• A populated city street, starting 10 ft apart.
• Standard gear, current mainstream canon versions (current / standard when the thread was originally made)
• Win by KO, death, or BFR.
• Rest / healing between rounds (for Gauntlets).

From what i've seen from movies, tv-shows and comics. Canon Vader gets beaten easily.
