Title says all. Instead of the giant monster seen in comics, Darth Vader is droped on Earth and fights godzilla.
Darth Vader vs Godzilla
This looks like Godzilla: Monster Planet to me. I say Vader, he overpowered a mutant Summa-Verminoth that ATE other Summa-Verminoths in the tenth issue of his 2020 run, and those things are over 7km long on average.
@alextheboss: How? Vader's TK is mountain level after his recent feat in his 2020 run.
@pedrolopesmateus: Which feat are you talking about? he had trouble with one of those giant creatures from Naboo, and Godzilla would wreck those.
Comic Godzilla absolutely stomps. Way too powerful.
@eredin12: Isn't he mind dominating it though? It's hard to tell if he slammed it, and in that scan it's clearly way smaller than a mountain. In once scan in looks huge, but in the other it's like the size of a skyscarper. And I know about Vader fighting that Kaiju, it's really impressive, but Godzilla tanks nukes like nothing, so I don't know if that's enough proof he can beat Godzilla. He might be able to, but it would be really tough.

Summa-Verminoths were stated to be over 7 km on average in a canon book, and the creature Vader overpowered was a subspecies that ATE other Summas, so, yeah, it is a mountain level TK feat.
@alextheboss: Canon Vader inded has gotten mountain level TK feat recently
Overpowering the galaxy's greatest predator. Summa-Verminoth . Here he slams it into the ground and overpowers it with his TK, pretty easily while weakend no less
Just to give you an idea of the size of the monster:
See those tiny explosions happening around the Verminoth's tentacle? Those are Tie-Fighters, which are 7 meters big and explosions are a lot bigger than ships themselves are since they expend from it even further.
Even more clear-cut they are confirmed to be around 7,5 km large on average as stated above( meaning around 70 times bigger than Monsterverse Godzilla) So Vader essentially overpowered a large mountain seized monster and slammed it into the ground at hypersonic speed, easily while weakend. Something with a mass of hundreds of millions if not billions of tons at least.
He also wrecked another Kaiju that made the advanced entire civilization helpless and live in fear, which while was less impressive is still good showing how he can deal with such threats something advanced civilization of planet could not
He could beat Monsterverse Godzilla before a recent movie, but he gets stomped by comic one here
Isn't the Godzilla above the "Monsterplanet" version? The creature from the movie trilogy (which later became a manga) had no feats to suggest it could beat Vader.
Even considering his showing of killing a featless Kaiju (which has no feats to be Godzilla level anyway) Big G stomps.
This. The Vader wank is insane, and that's coming from a Vader fan.
@darthsuper: there's been a lot of strange Star Wars wank in general lately.
Isn't he mind dominating it though? It's hard to tell if he slammed it, .
In the previous pages the creature tried to mind dominate him and he was rode it like a horse in the next page. Mind dominate makes far more sense from a story perspective.
Most Godzilla stomp
Yeah that’s Godzilla earth.
Look, I’m a hugeee Vader fan but cmon, he gets stomped here. Honestly most versions of Big G would stomp. Vader was unable to kill a Zillo Beast, how the hell would he kill Godzilla?
@eredin12: we’re not talking about Kylo Ren we’re talking about Vader, and he didn’t. (Plus Kylo needed a ship to get into position, Vader doesn’t get a ship here)
Godzilla is far superior to any creature in the Star Wars universe. His durability is insane. Vader has no way to hurt him.
@kols2ndcoming: No it does not, he simply first slammed it down with TK, and then dominated it, he did both but TK slam down was TK, anything else is headcnon
What you're arguing is no less headcanon, nice try. The creature attempted to mind control Vader, Vader does it back - from a story perspective that makes sense and its consistent with his portrayal.
@sonofdarkness: TBF, we have no ideea when did Vader fought the Zillo beast iirc. It might have been long before Vader's prime.
I'm not arguing that he beats Godzilla btw.
@darthadi: true, Godzilla still wins though.
The gesture is meaningless - the force very rarely doesn't require a gesture. Mind attacks require similar hand signs either way:
Hypersonic...what???
None of what you said can be backed up at all and doesn't make any sense grammatically. It is not a fact he used TK it is an interpretation based on a very vague scan that shows absolutely nothing aside from the thing slowly submitting and Vader monologuing.
You can argue your headcanon as fact if you want but it's not reinforcing anyone's opinion...especially when you throw around words like hypersonic.
@eredin12: fair enough
Yes hypersonic, this is 7,4 KM large creature being slammed more than 1 its size in second( one panel) to the ground, that is just math
Vader and that unenhanced assassin can have an entire conversation about him cheating in the span of a second... and a "7,4"??? km (huge highball but irrelevant) doesn't even crater the ground?
That clearly shows that it can only be TK, nothing vague or headcanon there, and this is an accepted feat really as well, most people dont try to make up headcanon really :
You realize other people in this thread were calling this a telepathic feat as well... it's not a unanimous census - Also ad populum.
Telepathy in Star Wars has never needed words - Vader said the stuff about the sun to Cylus to inform him how he was gonna die and that he was the cause... the ship randomly changing course into a star isn't as intimidating and also from an out of universe perspective the reader needs to understand why.
This is my last reply to you on the thread because it's clear you're not gonna be convinced.
