Darth Vader replaces Dooku against Anakin & Obi wan on Oba Diah

Suited Vader

• Before uncovering more information, Obi wan and Anakin are interrupted by Darth Vader (Instead of Dooku)
• Vader is at the peak of his suited, post ROTS power
• The fight has all the same conditions as it did before, just with Vader taking the place of Dooku in the same location.
• Vader will also be required to kill the Pyke leader once he shows up. (like Dooku did)
• Like Dooku, Vader will be provided with a get away ship once his tasks are met.

Vader for both, Legends doesn't really help the duo much cause as I recall for TCW supplement material, their feats don't stack up anyway.

Vader is a slightly higher tier 8 than Savage Opress at the peak of his portrayal, and said version was already in the process of soloing 20 bby Obi-Wan & Anakin despite being hindered in a variety of ways.

If Vader's ultimate goal is escape, as Dooku's was, neither Jedi dies. Dooku, a far more lethal opponent, did not kill them. While Dooku was having an easy time, Vader will be challenged. He can escape, but only narrowly.

I guess ROTS versions might be discussion worthy, but this is quiet a bit before that.

R1: Peak (pre-OT) Vader loses to either in an amazing fight. ROTJ dies badly.

R2: Team. Anakin and Obi-Wan are both significantly better swordsmen, and Vader's power edge won't be enough when he's fending off both attacking him like they did Dooku.

R1: Vader loses badly if you take the fact this is a anakin post Theta storm feat if clone wars gambit is included, Kenobi just helps to get the fight over more soon than ever.

R2: Vader wins solidly based on his power edge over more stronger versions of both via scaling

Vader in canon is above his ROTS self. He destroys them.

Also, you are wrong about Legends too. Vader is not sub Jinn.

The only chance the cyborg has here is if “peak” refers to the RotJ version hopped up on “super energy” to save Luke. But even then he needed several minutes of charging to pull off what he did and died anyway. Which given several minutes to charge I can see either of these two doing.

There's a small minority of people who are pushing forward a false argument that suited Vader in Legends is below Qui Gon. I love Jinn, but its categorically untrue. So be wary of this misinformation.

George has gone on to say that Vader only had 80% of Sidious's potential and was comparable to Maul and Dooku, who should be capable of beating the TPM duo. At least Dooku should.

1. Why do you say slightly higher? Not really soloing as he couldn't properly beat either and he was basically amped

2. I agree Dooku is more lethal but not by much
