Who would win?

Intriguing matchup -- a respected Master of the High Council pitted against a ruthless Dark Lord of the Sith. One was trained by Mace Windu, and the other by Darth Sidious. Master bladesbeings, these two.

I'll have to edit my thoughts in later. They've both proven challenges for General Grievous in the comics, but the more prominent mediums (TCW and the films) are a bit stickier.

Id say maul wins both rounds with high-mediocre difficulty.

Sabers. Depa has some pretty decent saber feats like taking on a basically prime grvious and cutting 2(?) of his hands off and she held her own against him quite well but did ultimately lose. Next she was able to take on a slightly tired and somewhat holding back mace windu and she kept the duel going for pretty long while holding her own. Maul has very impressive saber feats in the form of taking on obi wan and qui gon at the same time for several minutes and later killing qui gon as while as beating obi wan before his rage amp. 12ish years later he also effortlessly beat savage in 3 moves and later was pretty easily beating kenobi, there is also his probably best feat of briefly pressing a holding back and toying palpatine. so overall id say maul 7-8/10.

Force. dont have a lot of force feats for depa other then her using a force push which knocked greivous and 12 or so battle droids away which is a respectable feat. For maul however we have feats of him using force screams that knock large metal doors down, force pushs that send people flying, force choking people to death, and pulling down large transport ships while injured. So here id say maul wins 9/10.

Some other things to note are feats saying depa has appeared as a blur in combat with fast agile movements, maul has very similar feats with sources saying that his fight with qui gon was faster then the average eye could see.

So overall id give both rounds to maul 7-8/10.

Only Jedi that beat Maul during TCW in an actual fight are Yoda Windu and Anakin. Every other Jedi would lose

@therevaniter: Doing well against Disney Grievous doesn't impress me much. Lots of Jedi do that, and he's basically a jobber most of the time. Maul should win easily.

Maul slaps. All of Depa feats worth a damn are contextual.

I wouldnt say "lots" do. Most of the jedi he faces are high level council members whom he always stalemates or beats. Yea disney didnt do a good job as always but going against greivous and holding your own, not to mention she was sliced in the back by him, is still a good feat.

Maul, relatively comfortably as well

Maul takes both rounds with varying amounts of difficulty. TCW Maul has better Force feats than anything I’ve seen from Depa, and his dueling skill is higher too. Maul fought Grievous without nearly getting cut to ribbons by him.

Maul wins easily. Billaba got overwhelmed by 10 clones, while Maul took down 8 without a lightsaber while weakened from his prison.

@redsithdisciple: Circumstances are very different though, depa was confused and didn’t want to hurt the troopers, Maul knew exactly what was happening and was full rage mode enjoying himself(he also kinda had the plot armour)
