Round 1 - Duel
Round 2 - Force
Round 3 - All out

Team wins in sabers, Malak could win in the Force if we're using Star Forge Malak.
Fair
I think the team take it in a very good fight. I wouldn't place Deceived Malgus so far below Malak that adding Kao Cen Darach as support for Ven Zallow wouldn't tip the balance.
@darthant66How did you reach that conclusion?
Darach alone can put up a fight. Zallow isn t too far off, so the Jedi can win a slim majority.
My dude what on earth is the argument for Kao>Zallow omegalul? Zallow>Kao blatantly.
On topic: Even if I am being optimistic here and saying Zallow is pulling a lot of weight and Malak is not SF, Malak should still pull this one out after he sends Kao to the shadow realm.
Kao is fodder. Ven might take sabers.
Malak wins
@darthant66Why is he stronger than Exar Kun? I've never heard of that.
@azureamaterasu: there is a quote that has been approved canon by Leland Chee which say's Star Forge Malak is more powerful than Exar Kun
@deadlyeyes Wow well I never knew that. Also who is Leland Chee? The guy who invented Malak ? Also that's weird does that mean Malak is up there with Darth Sidious etc. ?
I love malak as a swordsman but i hold him quite low as a force user and even malak can scrape these shits off his boot

He is above Exar Kun bruh...........
@deadlyeyes: Never said he wasn't...
@greysentinel365: How tf is Cao fodder? He literally lasted longer against Malgus and Vindican, and Zallow barely did sh#t.
Grey considers Kao to be beneath child Ahsoka.
What? How lol
@greysentinel365: Well, do you? Please explain how Cao is even remotely close to fodder in this fight.
I think Redheathen mentioned this the other day, or something along those lines. The feat purist perspective, ignoring implication, status and such. If you look solely at feats, early war Ahsoka has similar telekinetic showings to what Kao displayed, and thus this obviously means that an early-stage adolescent Padawan is similarly powerful to a distinguished Jedi Master like Kao. And, since a notable Sith Lord like Vindican has essentially no telekinetic showings, hurling him must be meaningless and inferior to smaller showings like what Kao & Ahsoka displayed.
There is no argument for sabers unless you rely on Ahsoka's outlying showing of somehow matching Ventress for a good stint, ignoring the fact that Ahsoka was thrashed on another occasion, and a stronger version of her was still fodder to Anakin who is consistently portrayed as a peer of Ventress in TCW. As well as the fact that to contend that 14 year old Ahsoka is already ~ her master is ludicrous.

This is great and all but it's kind of like saying child Ahsoka is better than Cin Drallig as a duelist because of the fact one has feats and the other does not. I don't really get behind it..
Yeah. There should always be a baseline level of power one assumes. If a Padawan does something, especially so early on in their training -- Ahsoka's feats were performed days after graduating from Initiate -- It should be obvious that a Knight could do it too. Master is a whole other level. Unless, of course, you're Anakin.

Yep
@greysentinel365: That's funny. I'll take that XD.
@lord_tenebrous: Which TK feats might that be that she's done close to Kao?
@greysentinel365: But this brings back the point. If Ven Zallow can beat Darth Malak in sabers only, it's damn near a guaranteed win for Kao (sabers only).
@boutatakeanl: Well if I'm correctly recalling my thought process from over a year ago, I held Malak as a rough equal to Deceived Malgus, whom Ven could press in sabers when enraged. Kao was neatly overwhelmed by Malgus a decade beforehand when enraged. When paints a pretty clean contrast between them.
As for my opinion now? Well my placement of Malgus hasn't changed. My opinion of Malak has. Quite frankly he would ragdoll these two off the bat and that would be it. Sabers is merely a formality and given that greater power equals greater augmentation and precognition. Malak would sweep there as well.
@greysentinel365: Yes I agree. Malak is much more powerful now and would stomp. But again, Malgus was in his prime when Kao fought him. He was healthier, faster, more brutal, etc... I feel like barely holding him off and dying vs. holding him off in his prime and his master for a decent amount of time is a pretty large gap.
@lord_tenebrous: Which TK feats might that be that she's done close to Kao?
On Christophsis, she hurls the upper part of an LR-57 droid a fair distance. It's of similar size to the piece of machinery Kao threw at Malgus toward the end of their fight.

Uh...what? You talking about this?
Look at the size of the head, that's not even the same height as Anakin even if it was turned upright.
Looking at the engine, that is certainly much bigger than that droid head.
Not really comparable, moreover that isn't even an impressive feat by your bog standard Legends Jedi Padawan/Knights anyway.
R1: Team. Ven Zallow was giving Malgus a decent fight, who at that point was not significantly below Malak, and Darach was able to well against both apprentice Malgus and Vindican
R2: Malak, better offensive power, and abilities with the force
R3: Difficult, If Malak can take an early advantage with his force abilities. Utilising either stun/whirlwind or some other disability move he can win a majority, but if the team engages in a duel, he loses. all around Malak for a majority.
