Darth Bane vs Darth Venamis

Feats for Venamis that are > collapsing a tent?

Considering Venamis was trained with the sole purpose of countering Plagueis' lightsaber skill and style down to a tee, it's difficult to ascertain how that would translate to other combatants especially one as unique as Bane. Obviously Venamis' performance would require an immense amount of technical skill and mastery, exactly how much is hard to tell especially since he ultimately died to Plagueis regardless.

Competing with Plagueis and fighting even while levitating himself is very impressive. I suppose part of this is how far ahead Bane's successors were, and how well we can say Venamis did against Plagueis.

He injured Plagueis, though Plagueis was still able to make the duel a routine matter to lull out a mistake. Since Plaguies didn't beat Venamis with TK and how both employed it in the battle IIRC, Venamis is likely comparable to Plagueis.

Still, his skill was clearly oriented towards beating Plagueis, but he was trained by Tenebrous, so while I would say Bane has better technical skill, I'm not sure.

I think Venamis can pull out this victory, though it would be kind of embarrassing for Bane to lose to a rule of two failure...

It's hard to compare Venamis against other combatants given that he was specifically trained to counter Plagueis' style. That said, he could clearly measure up to Plagueis in both skill, physicality and sheer power, and was selected by Tenebrous to replace Plagueis, a character of substantially (if not vastly) greater power than Bane, so it's quite probable that Venamis wins here.

Isn't there some guidebook statement that spoils any fight with an older member of the Rule of Two against a newer one?

Venamis was able to give a decent fight and enable Plagueis to call on the force to dispatch him, which is a greater feat than Bane beating featless Sirak/Kas'im. Plagueis per the Rule of Two is vastly above Bane even as an apprentice, and Bane wouldn't be able to react to Plagueis's speed let alone duel him. Venamis stomps

Eh, Venamis, probably. Dunno.

Venamis takes it in a decent fight, he is a superior duelist by pushing Plagueis to use his full power, and also capable of dealing with Bane's lightning with his own lightning.

And yeah, just like Maul / Dooku / Vader, Venamis deserves to be in the RoT chart.

Venamis of course. Being comparable to Darths Tenebrous and Plagueis makes him far superior to Bane. He wins 9-10/10.

I would say Venamis, for reasons already stated above.

Bane every time with difficulty. RoT scaling should not be influential here given that like with Vader, Maul & Tyranus, Venamis never truly climbed beyond the rank of apprentice.

Venamis was stated to have force power in par with Tenebrous.

I'm a Bane fan but Venamis should take it comfortably.

I agree, although I believe Dooku to be narrowly more skilled.

Well, to be fair, we've seen instances of Sith attempting to select or actually selecting apprentices before surpassing their masters in power. I don't think either Venamis nor Plagueis (at that point) were more powerful, or on par with Tenebrous. I'd hold that both were below him by a decent margin.
