Yikes, poor matchup here. Boyprime's a brick with no telepathy resistance and PC Darkseid jobs too much to be taken as seriously as everyone else here.

Larfleeze beats Darkseid down with his bud and Prime, I guess.

And Despero has been oneshotted by Superman's heatvision before. What's your point?

He's really not, but his TP is a hard counter to Prime, who doesn't have anything to suggest he could resist it, let alone try and fight back somehow.

He'll be too busy dealing with Larfleeze's spam construct army. Larfleeze himself isn't really fast in combat but his army of constructs are always gonna hit before he does. Darkseid's busy with them while Despero takes Prime and all three gang up on him.

@professorrespect: in that scenario, what's stopping Prime from blitzing and oneshotting Despero?

I'm not buying Prime bullrushing Despero first when there's a whole construct army annoying everyone. He'd try to bullrush them and get TP'd quick

@professorrespect: I'm not buying Prime not being able to blitz in addition to Darkseid being too dense to not take less than a second to obliterate Despero with the Omega Effect. I guess we'll have to disagree.

I never said Prime WOULDN'T blitz Despero, I merely said that Prime would go for the bright orange army annoying him than the buff red dude.

Darkseid and Despero have never met face to face to my knowledge, so he wouldn't have any understanding of what he can do either

@professorrespect: Darkseid knows a lot. He knew about the Pre-Crisis Parasite despite being post-Crisis. He knew about Barda's adult videos. He knew Mxyzptlk was the one tormenting Superman, despite having never met him face to face.

That's true, but some of those could be explained via context and stuff (he spies on the New Gods all the time, he wasn't effected by the Crisis and has interacted with Superman villains in the past, etc) but I wouldn't think he would know about Despero considering their respective histories have been kept a decent chunk apart from each other.
