RPG Scenario Tourney
After the three failed attempts at the Hunger Games scenario I have decided to start something a little different that was inspired by Gilliads High Fantasy Scenario. There will be RPing in this scenario but rest assured you will have enough opportunity to do some debating. Most of everything will happen in the main thread though with outcomes being decided by us. Only participant vs participant matches having separate threads with voting. My overall goal is to keep running this running for a while. I will stat with an initial number of 8 participants. However every week a new set of people join. If you die or get disqualified you can rejoin with new character on the next entry.
Just basic setting of the scenario. There is not much here right now but as you progress you will be able to explore and learn more.
Edral is a newly formed Kingdom in Testrana. It was formed by an Elf named Afamrail and it is currently run by a Royal Family comprised of mostly of Elves. he country was formed as a place where people of all races can come together, and right now you can find people of almost any race in the country. But this kingdom is far from a Utopia, like very kingdom it has its fair share of crime and monsters to deal with.
Tarrin has slowly become one of the most dangerous provinces in the Kingdom. It is filled with all sorts of criminals and everyone official is corrupt. But you can find cheapest places to live in the kingdom and lots opportunities to make some money.
The basic story is that you have arrive to a coastal city by ship. You have will all have to come up with a back story which should include you reason for traveling. Your reasoning can be anything you want but it should make sense within the setting. I will do my best build the world around your various goals. And you can always come with new goals and stuff to do. There is voyage every week so you can join week 1 or some other week.
You all arrive by ship(illegally) to the port of Tarrin a province in Edral. You all have your own reasons for coming here but the journey took all the money you had. So before you are able to accomplish what you have come here to do you must earn some money. Thankfully you will find enough opportunities to make some coin.
Your character will have to follow the limits of one of the following classes. You get to pick one race and class. Aside from the two choices you also have to come up with a background for your character. At the very least you need a reason for why you characters traveled here, where they came from, and a D&D style alignment. Though I would advise more. I also request an image for your character. As the game progress you will get the opportunity to upgrade your character, learning new abilities and buy new gear.
You pick one race for your character. Each race comes with it's own perk and will affect how you are treated in the world.
Elves are the most predominant species in the Kingom, making up around 50% of it's population as well as The Royal Family. While the Edral's royal elves are lax compared to those in other kingdoms, their rules have still made them despised by most of the other races especially the Nephilim.
Trait: Elves are blessed with great hearing, Their long ears allow them hear things are further distance any of the other races. (Elves get FOX Wolverine level hearing)
Nephilim are descendants of the Old Gods who fled to mortal realm. Edral was one of the places most of the Nephilim has settled in. They still harbor a great resentment for the Elves who has caused the downfall of their Ancestors.
Trait: While not as powerful as the old Gods were, Nephilim still share some similarities. Aside from their appearance they also posses Low Level regeneration capabilities. (Can heal from minor wounds instantly like this)
A once subterranean race, Orcs have started to trade and work with other races more and more these days. A faction of the race has settled in Edral due to the better lifestyle and now make up for 5% of its populatuon. They are a strong and prideful race that do tend to be prone to war but are slowly changing that.
Trait: Having lived underground for so long, Orc has developed so even in the Dark.(Riddick eyesight)
Edral is home to many other races from across the globe that make up the. Each with their own unique abilities.
Trait: There are many different species out there, with their own unique physiology(You get a unique physical trait like bone claws or extra limbs)
You also pick one class for your character. Your class determines your characters stats, what gear they start with and what powers they have. Spells and special powers are going to be dealt on a case by case basis but anything broken will not be allowed while the DC limit is wall level.
The Bogatyr are a rare breed of wandering hero. It is said that they are blessed by the gods and destined for greatness. Gifted with superhuman physical abilities and an aptitude for combat, the bogatyr are always prone to a life of adventure.

Mages are masters of the mystical arts. Though anyone can learn spells and many profess to be mages, most humans can only handle attuning themselves to a certain number of spells at a time. True mages on the other-hand, are free to learn as many spells as they wish.

Skilled inventors and archaeologists, artificers are those who prefer to fight using their wit and a variety of primitive gadgets over raw physical prowess. Though they do not usually hone their bodies to the same level as the bogatyr, they are often quite strong, as they spend much of their time carrying around heavy equipment.
Physicals Limit - 2 tons
Speed Limit - Bullet reacting
Gear - Artificers may choose a full gear-set, provided it fits the technological level of the setting.
Skill - Artificers may choose any skillset they wish. Skills do not grant powers. It is recommended that you choose a skillset that can reasonably utilize the gear set of your choice.
Perk - Unlike other classes, the artificer gains the crafting skills of their chosen skill-sets (again, must reasonably fit the technological level of the setting).
That should be it. A max of 8 people can join per week. Now usually this will be first come first serve but I have a special offer this week. Vote on this Match and you get moved to the top of the list. Is that unfair? yes but I am doing what I can.
