@hypebeastcsb15: kinetic energy doesn't increase the durability of the object, do you know what potential energy is? The reason why meteors are so deadly is because of the potential energy in the Earth.

It's laughable that you think kinetic energy makes destroying a Island level object higher than Island level.

@vummax: You'd have to cancel out the energy output of the meteor to be able to destroy it.

@hypebeastcsb15: No you don't. That's not how it works. Kinetic energy doesn't make something more durable.

A bullet that's not moving has less energy than a bullet that's fired, but they both have the same density. This while argument came from people who wanted to wank Kenny.

@vummax: lol dued you dont know what kentic energy is. The meter gets a massive weight amp. The meter that whipe a Continent. Was only a few KM. Atoms are pretty much weightless and moves at light speeds. But do to the friction of the gluon field the accumulate mass and slow down.

@undre: dude*

And it's you who doesn't understand energy.

Take the size of the meteor and that's the busting tier, Island is more than enough.

If the moon came crashing down at the Earth, it's not planet level because it would deatroy Earth, it's Moon level because you busted a Moon.

@vummax: No, if the moon was thrown at earth with enough energy to destroy it, that would be planet level. To destroy that moon before it hit earth would take planet level AP.

@hypebeastcsb15: No it wouldn't the moon would still require the same amount of energy to deatroy regardless of it moving or not.

The moon wouldn't randomly harden because it was now moving.

@vummax: Dude when something moves at high speeds, it gains mass. Force is mass x acceleration. Thats why it would take more force to stop a car moving at 100mph than it would to stop the same car going 30mph. It's not that hard to understand.

@vummax: if the moon is going fast enough could easily nuke earth. Force equals mass×acceleration. A meteor free falling will only make an explosion a few times bigger than its size. But a meteor coming from space can make an explosion 1000s of times bigger than its size

@hypebeastcsb15: no I didn't.

Speed + Mass = Force.

But when it doesn't hit anything all that POTENTAL energy is wasted.

This is simple physics, Kenny busted a falling rock, that does give him the feats of what said rock would have done once it stuck the EARTH.

The bolded parts are the half of the equation you guys are missing.

@cocoussybreaker: yes they do, people think it's country level because it would have destroyed a "country"

But when you take away the Potential Energy of what it's going to strike it doesn't have anywhere close to the same energy.

All Kenny did was destroy a falling rock what ever size that was is what he is.

yeah, that doesn't change the fact that Kenny overpowered the kinetic energy released from the impact of the meteor on his blade.

I love how you fail to realize that, whether or not Kenny is a planet is irrelevant. The kinetic energy doesn't just disappear when the meteor notices that it didn't hit a freaking planet. That's retarded.

EDIT: Just to re-iterate it with different explanations, in case you didn't understand the first time, The meteor does not turn into a free falling boulder when it sees kenpachi get in the way of it and the ground. I repeat The kinetic energy still exists upon impact with kenpachi's blade. A third time, Nobody calculates the size of the explosion that is made when it hits earth, we calculate the amount of energy acquired by a rock of that size moving at those speeds.

Get it now???

Anime guys fighting over fan made calcs like they are legit scientist who study physic breaking characters for a living. Yet they also want to say a featless character fighting a holding back foe is equal to said foe. Sad. Reminds me of the toxic DBZ vs comic days, only its Naruto and Bleach now.

@vummax: potential energy is mass×gravity×height. That energy is then converter to Kentic energy when in motion. KE equals 1/2×mass×velocity

I dont think you know what potential energy is

No, it's irrelevant because you don't need the potential energy of a planet to calculate the amount of kinetic energy the meteor has, or how much energy in joules a meteor would release upon impact.

How was the Meteor going to destroy the land, tell me how.

By hitting it of course.
