Cyclops runs the Gauntlet (H2H)

All fights take place in an Octogon setting, H2H only, no rules, no morals, fight until the death or KO. ALL characters are at normal human levels, no powers and no weapons.

Round 1: Barbara Gordon and Catwoman

Round 2: Shadowcat and Jessica Drew

Round 3: Black Widow and Elektra

Round 4: Psylocke

Round 5: Wonder Woman

Doesn't make it past round 3.

I'm really trying to figure out how he gets pass Catwoman. He can hold his own with Wolverine because he trained with him but Catwoman in no slouch when it comes to fighting. Hell I even see Kitty giving him problems, shoot he might not even see level 3.

I agree to an extent but from what I have seen, Kitty is skilled based on descriptions in a handbook. She, like Cyclops, lacks the showings on panel to really show where she falls in h2h skill. I haven't seen Kitty fighting any trained fighters in h2h, at least not without relying on her phasing, to state she would be better than Scott.

True but quite a few other X-Men who have skill in H2H, including Cyclops, have taught other X-Men (i.e. - Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler have taught h2h techniques to other X-Men). In addition to Colossus, Scott has also been giving training to Emma. What I meant about Kitty's phasing is that if she has to rely on her phasing in h2h combat vs her own prowess and skill, it's not as compelling a showing to support her being above others who can defeat competent fighters on skill alone (no powers needed to support them). I think the same applies to Scott to a degree.

Also, Scott's main gift in hand to hand is his tactical mind and strategy. He has beaten many people in hand to hand by using the environment and their own strengths and weaknesses against them more than out skilling them in straight martial skill.

If it was all one on one fights he could pull it out against all of them except Electra and Wonderwoman. Electra would be very hard, and he would lose 6 maybe 7 out of 10, against WW he would lose 9 out of 10 simply because she has that much more experience.

I kinda Lol'd when I saw Elektra ... then noticed she was teamed up with another hand to hander that would decimate Scott in hand to hand all by her lonesome (and possibly even with the optics).
