R1: Ward, Slade ain't giving this much trouble to May.
R2: Ward, his gear is similarly good and he has WAY better showings with them, esspecially in range. His STRIKE feat comes to mind for knife fighting and gun/ICER usage.
R3: Ward again, he's better physically. Centipede Soldiers had comparable and/or superior feats to Mirakuru thugs and May was one shotting them with the Staff. The thing that makes me iffy is Ward's lack of self control while wielding it, he has that disadvantage unlike May. I'd still bet on him though, if nothing else due to the stat difference.
@tonymartial: Ok... five guys that Slade completely took by surprise while they thought they had him defenseless & restrained.
What is it about the feat that you find impressive? Is it the efficiency of Slade's switching between enemies? Ward did that against agents coming from three opposed angles, as opposed to all in the same direction:
Is it the speed at which Slade fires bullet after bullet? Ward does it faster with only one gun:
Is it the fact that he had a bunch of enemies to deal with? Ward cleared out a room with twice as many guys who knew he was coming, in around the same time Slade took out half as many:
Is it the accuracy? Ward has made shots more precise than that, even going for specific parts of the body like the wrist to disarm opponents non lethally:
Is it Slade's ability to quickly aim down the sights of his gun? Ward can do that across a long distance too, and in the second one he doesn't even aim at all:
You can’t see an argument for Slade because Ward is just plain better.
I know. Which makes it all the more weird that people paint Slade as a godlike marksman. Dude has one half-decent feat against five people who were wholly unprepared for him... and then he's compared to Bucky, Ward, etc. in marksmanship. Ward and other elite MCU marksmen show a much more diverse set of skills when it comes to firearms handling. They can shoot at close range, mid range, long range, adapt on the fly, engage against opponents that are actively assaulting them... and everyone's response to this is just bringing up that same Slade feat which shows him getting the drop on five guys that are completely taken by surprise due to the context of the scene.
