Actually, her lose against Rory was before her second time with the LoA. So yeah, Sara has a very good shot at beating Slade.

Before I say Sara can beat Slade currently I'll wait and see if she gets some more feats. I agree if Sara gets more showings like her recent fight with the Pilgrim she should win. And she has potentially gotten better due to more league training for 2 years. But still I think Slade was far above her before that training. Not just because her showing against heatwave but in the comics I remember Malcolm one shotting her. I don't see that happening to Slade, who actually almost defeated Oliver in the comics until Oliver got his hands on an arrow and stabbed Slade in the ankle IIRC, and Oliver at that point was arguably better than Malcolm IMO.

Sara has the potential to beat Slade and I think there at least on the same tier at the moment but before I can be confident in her abilities I want her to accumulate more feats because so far I would have to play up on one feat which may not even be out of Slade's depth for all we know. Its hard to compare since we never saw Slade fight a meta human without his powers but he did fight Oliver as a nigh-equal in season 2, and I would say he was on the same tier as Malcolm and both of them have fought mirakuru users I guess.

@jashro44: yeah before Legends I would have said this was a mismatch in favor of Slade. Until recently I would have said Sara could put up a fight but would lose. Current Sara's a tier or two above where she was on Arrow, I'd say, especially after her fight against Pilgrim. Should be interesting to see how good she gets

@arcus1: He's always been portrayed as a rival to or superior of Oliver, even late in season 3 when he beat him again on the island. Most of Sara's good feats are against fodder (good fodder probably, but fodder nonetheless). And her loss to Rory really sticks with me as a low showing for her.

Sara's been getting some very impressive feats from Legends, particularly her fight against Pilgrim

Yeah, her fight with Rory probably wasn't her best showing. But even so, there's a few things to consider:

• That was before her additional 2 years with the League
• Rory's h2h capabilities hadn't been well established before then, so it's hard to tell for sure if that's a low showing for her or just a good showing for Rory
• Rory only won because of his gun

Slade with eye patch should have a blind spot they start with swords from 10ft away Sara will win.

@jashro44: Interesting how Malcolm one-shots her at one point and then beats him at another. I never realized her time with Legends would hone her skills that much until this season.

She talked herself up a lot in Arrow but, imo, was pretty underwhelming, but Legends boosted her a ton

We don't see Slade in the sizzle. Just Amell holding his mask and Manu's voice. So its still not officially confirmed Manu is back.

@jashro44: The delivery on that line wasn't phoned in or anything at all. Even if Manu couldn't physically make it and is just doing voice over for a stunt double, he definitely gave it his A game. I'm so excited.

Yeah, even if Manu specifically isn't gonna be in the suit, it's pretty clear that Slade's gonna be making an appearence

@arcus1: Gonna need more to be convinced, the show has used Deathstroke for hype purposes a few times in the past. One of the tease trailers for S3 had him even though he didn't make an appearance until the second half of S3, he was in a trailer for the second half of S4 and all it turn out to be was a 1 minute hallucination scene. The Invasion trailers also had him and was just a stunt double.

@arcus1: That tends to happen when you are on a show that kills its important characters as easily as a person could swipe their phone. Meanwhile, Legends really gave her the screen time she needed to be really cool. This coming from the person that liked her and was upset about her first death. XD

Current Sara can give Damien a run for his time. Slade loses here.

Sara wins in a good fight. Without Mirakuru Slade's physical edge is marginal, while Sara is definitely more skilled of them.
