@klaus: Flash also doesn't have the whole snapping back to the starting position that she is hindered with.
She jumped in front of an already fired bullet to save Mac, but I think she dodged a bullet when she first met Mac. In the latest episode, she was out running a point blank explosion until it caught up. She consistently blitzes everyone without jobbing, and people are completely frozen from her point of view. And the distance she covers depends on how fast she can move in an heartbeat.
If we calculate the distance she covered and the length of an her heartbeat, we could call a speed figure for her.
She has a Webseries starting next week Tuesday with 6 episodes, she'll probably get more feats in that. We should wait till then
Yoyo was pretty impressive in the last ep. Aside from speedforce sheninigans ,she's on par maybe faster than Cw flash and closer to quicksilver in days of future past.

so yoyo is faster than a guy who traveled faster than mach 10? especially since it's been stated she only as fast as one heart beat? and has to return to her original spot? slowly and slowly comic vine breeds for MCU wankers everyday smh
A heartbeat is a unit of time, not speed. Speed is distance covered in a given time. We shouldn't look at the time alone (heartbeat = 1 sec), we should also factor in the distance she covered in the time period to know her speed.
Anyway, on topic, Barry wins this, he has much better feats aside from the jobbing
@darkonast: Bro, heartbeat isn't her speed, it is the lengh of time she travels for. Yo-Yo has blitzed the perception of someone who was wathing for her to demonstrate her powers. She ran up to Talbot, unclipped his ribbon rack from the inside of his jacket, and returned to her position, and Talbot neve even knew she moved. No streaking, no eniromental giveaways.

She blitzed SIGHT to beat Gargoyle's powers during the fight in Bogota:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hJFoNAHlVuc
It is hard to judge how fast her high end is, however it seems that the only real difference between her high end and her moderate is whether or not she correctly judges how fast she needs to be. In the first video for example, (posted by someone else earlier in the thread) the one with Ghostrider...in one scene she is shown running through the building with slow mo water droplets, and then barely escaping the explosion, as well as a scene with people moving slow mo. The next time we see her, she blitzes a battle with everyone freeze framed and redirects attacks and such for the team, before tagging Eli.
She is fast no doubt, and could keep up with Flash. I think her slingback would be an asset here honestly, as she is fast enough to pull Flash away from her start point, and the slingback past his attack, allowing her to hit from a different angle.
Furthermore, that explosion that she was reacting to was a Caesium reaction, shiw is less powerful but also FASTER than a similar explosion from another element. It reacts instantly on contact with water...here is a video slowed down enough to see the particles expanding in slow motion, yet we still cannot even begin to track the actual explosive reaction itself.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D4pQz3TC0Jo
This is important because that Caesium-water reaction is what yo-yo was reacting to when she turned around in that video. That is bloody fast to the point that it's hard to even know where to start. I do not know what the expansion speed of a large scale caesium explosion, don't know where to start...but that run speed was debataby high end if else can figure that out. But the actual reaction to the explosion itself was stupid fast, because there is now way she could have known that woild happen when the water hit, meaning she had to be actually reacting to the chemical reaction and corresponding explosion.
Also, what she put on Eli was a very powerful magnet. She attached it and activated it, then turned around and began running back before eli was affected by it...meaning either she was fast enough to beat the propogation of a super powerful em field, (near c in atmosphere) or she beat the activation of the circuit itself, meaning she moves faster than the charge-sea flow stemming from a power source that could keep a city under a continuous em pulse. So...fast. Fast enough that she blitzed the effects of gravity on thosee blood drops, which didn't start falling when they trailed the axe. Hard to quantify.
@Paytience: great breakdown, would really love it if you updated this next week when her Webseries episodes are released

never said her heartbeat was her speed , I'm saying she can ONLY travel an amount of distance possible she can cover in one heartbeat and she still has to return to the same spot she started from , making her NOT a speedster , her name is yo-yo for a reason whereas barry can run freely , before she even thinks about trying to fight him , he could knock her out , barry has ran mach 10+ , not one person on AOS is even 1/10 faster than that
I'm not trying to downplay , I mean she is FAST but MCU fast (fastest recorded speedster was around mach 1.5) where barry is fast in terms of cw fast (fast speedster travels at mach 20+)
@darkonast: Running on par with an explosion puts her comfortably above mach 10 bro. She responded to the instant reaction of a caesium-water explosion.
A solid state explosive propogates at between 4000 and around 11000 meters per second. The FASTEST acting explosion is a caesium water reaction...her reactions speeds are therefore near instant. Furthermore, the detonation of a caesium water explosion propogates at the high end of the scale. Meaning that in order to make it as far as she did before being caught by the explosion, she had to be moving anywhere between 5000-10000 meters per second.
Making her speed in that scene anywhere between Mach 14 and and just under Mach 30. So yeah...she has feats in that range. Has Flash ever outright blitzed the perception of someone actively watching him for his powers? Has he ever blitzed a sight based power? She has feats.
Running on par with an explosion puts her comfortably above mach 10 bro. She responded to the instant reaction of a caesium-water explosion.
Before this catches on... There is no such thing as cesium water explosion. There is, however, a thing called cesium water combustion. Completely different things. Yo Yo did not outrun an explosion. She outran a trail of fire moving along the cesium spread over the wall.
People seriously underestimating Yoyo. Her slingshot reaction might help her in this fight. Flash would totally be confused and not figure it out fast enough.
@touma: @rbt: She responded to the actual reaction pf the caesium and and water which RESULTED IN AN EXPLOSION. Futhermore, the fact that the flames were even visible to her in a caesium water reaction is a feat in itself, since Caesium and water react to fast to actually see flame.
Also, stop to confuse the semantics. It was an EXPLOSION. Caesium is pyrophoric when it contacts air in small amounts, just like say, depleted uranium, however it is EXPLOSIVE when it reacts with water. So your wrong...furthermore, the reaction between Caesium and Water is FASTER then the reaction between almost any other elements...meaning the explosions are not as powerful, however they are very, very fast.
So she REACTED to the instant reaction of the Caesium exploding on contact with the water...you can watch the video, she splashes, looks at the water, it hits the wall and the reaction begans, then she turns and runs. I've posted a video of how fast that reaction happens even at 10000 frames per second.
The fact that she was able to stay ahead of the esplosive shockwave at all before it caught her, puts her at the Mach 14 lowend for that feat specifically. It's impossible to say how fast exactly she was going, only that speed of the a caesium reaction is sinificantly faster than say a sodium water reaction.
Furthermore, if you wanna be a semantics hound, Caesium doesn't combust at all, as it isn't an energy source. (fuel) And combustion isn't always explosive.
Caesium "detonates". You can look up the difference.
@paytience: it doesn't really matter. yo-yo BARELY outran that explosion whereas Barry straight up outran a city busting explosion. she doesn't have a single feat Barry couldn't emulate plus the dude has experience fighting speed based foes and yo-yo doesn't. Barry wins handedly.
@Paytience: dude she has done nothing to be even close to what Barry has done, Barry can run on wall , run on water, create tornado, create vacuum with his hand. had extra ability like phase, , lightning throw, super healing.
and why you guys keep forgetting that Barry has already outrun a explosion . heck the explosion Barry outrun was far bigger then what she outrun.
@paytience: Alright. Let me put it as simple as I can. Cesium is not an explosive. Cesium does not explode when it comes to contact with water. It reacts with water to create hydroxide and hydrogen gas. And that hydrogen gas is explosive. Cesium only explodeswhen there is enough hydrogen gas produced. This is not a technicality. Its the fact. And while I agree, that Cs reaction with water is very fast, it is still a delayed reaction in human time. Means, you and I can observe a delay before the reaction happens, so for Elena to do so is not an impressive thing.
Regardless, Barry has several feats that trump anything Elena has done to date, so he wins anyway. I am just making this argument to prove that you are severely overrating her speed. She is no way near the speed you are suggesting for several reasons. It wasn't an explosion from the start. And she didn't successfully outrun it either. She was caught.

No Jobbering For Cw Flash, But He Thinks Yoyo Is Cisco's Sister
Yo Yo got tagged by a human. Clearly she is an awful combatant. She trips and breaks her neck.
lol
We have explicit statements from the actress, who broke down the scene and explained that Ruby is intended to be at that skill level. This isn't a case of jobbing or being an idiot, this is a case of the showrunners explicitly wanting Ruby to be that good. Dove Cameron stated that this feat would be inachievable by any other regular person.
@the_magister: So, she's a human with Mach-whatever speed Yo Yo is- reaction?
@rbt: "Ruby is definitely a trained weapon. I would call her an assassin," Cameron says. "She catches that blade that can slice through bone at what is probably going hundreds of miles an hour to keep up with Yo-Yo's speed. And I also always notice that Ruby is seeing Yo-Yo move at that speed. Nobody else can see her move at that speed, and Ruby's clocking it. She's seeing her move, she's watching her go, she's calculating where she's going to be, she's throwing the blade at the speed that it needs to hit her. And then after it has sliced through bone, Ruby catches it between her fingers without cutting her hand in half. That is a terrifying person."
