Oh I thought it was only live action. In the TV show there weren't any other speedsters. If we count the Season 11 feats then it's pretty close

Barry being morals off seals it in his favour, as that usually means he's not jobbing.

Even in the show he faced off against Clark, who was MFTL by season 8.

I thought that Clark was only mftl until s9/10

How is entering pocket dimension a lightspeed feat? Was it explained in the show? I genuinely don't remember.

Anywho, CW Barry is one overrated piece of crud, just for the record. I was gone for a week and now he's more overrated than CW Arrow, and that's saying something.

Curious are we counting feats from the SV comic where Bart ran around the Earth in like what 2 seconds or something insane? And you mean like current CW Flash amped with say the gadget he had in Season 2 against Zoom because that would make Barry like insanely OP lol though Bart was also pretty damn OP in SV. Fun match though, nice thread.

@eobard21: Funny thing is, when you watch the scene, even though they said earlier that a breach closes in 3 picoseconds it actually takes a full second for his breach to close after he launches his satellites.

@arctika: Nah I'm talking about the last amp he got in the epi called think fast when he was enough to enter a breach who lasted 3 picoseconds even tho like RR79 said it's weird cause it took for the breach to close but it's maybe because Barry was already in Flashtime at that moment ? Idk

It wouldn't look good. This is an example of when the statement surpasses the visual data. The writers intended for the breach to close in 3 picoseconds, so we go by that.

But Bart is in a much higher branch of MFTL. Almost to the point Barry's feat looks like a joke to him.

And I wasn't asking for any restriction either. Just saw that there wasn't any.

As it goes, current Barry beats Bart circa season 7, anything after, and Bart shreds him.

I disagree with that first part. There is nothing to say that it wouldn't look good if it closed faster than a full second visually. The last part though, if it is consistent, I can agree with. There have been plenty of throwaway lines though that meant nothing and were even retconned later. For instance, Ralph Dibny was actually supposed to have been killed during the particle accelerator explosion back in season 1 according to Thawne.

Being faster than the flight speed of Kyrptonians, shown on 2 separate occasions, to the point where said Kryptonian may as well have been walking.

Kryptonians in Smallville have shown to cross inter-galactic distances in no more than a minute at most.

Damn that's op as hell but weren't Bart and Clark rather close in speed by the end of s10 ? Or I'm totally wrong lol just don't remember

Not by how it was depicted during their next meeting. Seems Bart and Clark never were close in terms of speed, not even when Clark was juiced up on Speed Force.

If was alive for even longer in the series, he may have had even more chances to impress, since the "traveling through space very regularly" arc happened after his death.

And he did joke to Clark about him being lucky he didn't learn to fly first.
