Where in the OP do they say this? I literally see no starting distance? or is it the rules to automatically assume the opponents start 10 feet away from each other? if so 10 feet actually makes this worse for Ollie.
Yes.
I think you are confusing skill with speed (Flash can easily tag Batman despite Bruce being the more skilled, skill is not gonna cover a massive stat advantage like strength, dura, and speed),
I'm not. There isn't a combat speed gap here at all. In the example you gave, Batman v Barry, there is. Nyssa can keep track of 6 combatants attacking her in tandem from 6 directions, counter them and actually point out flaw in their technique. That's how fast she is. And she couldn't tag Oliver despite him holding back. And that was before his training under Ra's. So, where is the combat speed gap?
and even assuming Ollie is more skilled, what does that have to do with Thor not using his overwhelming physical advantage against "Ollie's skill", as I said one punch or throw and Ollie is basically dead, He would have to try his best to avoid Thor in a extremely large battlefield.
You're 100% right. One punch from Thor and Ollie will be dead. No doubt. But again, why are we assuming that it'd be Thor who tags Oliver first and not the other way around despite Oliver being more skilled? That assumption makes no sense.
In terms of gear, I can see Thor surviving getting sliced by a Vibranium sword considering Thor got stabbed by Hela's weaponry multiple times without dying, and those pierce thru Uru (Which might be more durable than Vibranium overall).
Yeah, I think that's the only argument one can make for Thor coming out of this alive. That the sword Oliver has won't pierce him properly. That said, I don't that will be the case. If you disagree with this basic point, then I can see why you'd think Thor would win. However, my argument is that going with the assumption that the sword will cut Thor properly, Ollie would win.
If Thor decided to engage with Ollie, he would either massively overpower him, or just throw him like he did to those Alien junkies, so basically what I said above.
Again, you are ignoring logic here. Yes, if Ollie was unarmed, this would be true. He isn't. He has a weapon that can hurt Thor. He is more skilled. There is absolutely no reason to assume Thor would land the first hit and not the other way around. And post first hit, its downhill for Thor.
