Fire Dragon's Purgatory Fist is far greater than any feat Yamamoto has. Not to mention Natsu is pretty much immune to non hax flames while Yama is not. Physical wise Natsu outclassed as well since he went blow to blow with Aldo who was leveling country sized areas with a simple stomp.

Yama’s Bankai isn‘t flames, it‘s his burning Reiatsu, which was hot enough to affect the whole planet (stated twice) and on panel cause a rainstorm as far as the eye can see when deactivated, melt ice in a country wide area and stop a Zanpakuto that controls the weather from working, as well as spontaneously combust plants indoors.

He’s also 15 million degrees.

Not a DC feat, but Natsu dies. He also gets blitzed, FT isn’t really that fast.

Only character to crush a country level attack Kenny who is far above Shikai Yama and even then FT has far weaker characters than Natsu who can casually do that as well.

Joviolma explained to me how Haku's statement is figurative a while back, it's based on a specific grammar rule that's usually used for non-literal statements.

Not only did 3 characters confirm he was going to destroy the planet, they didn’t say Seireitei, they said Soul Society (Unohana and Yama himself), Toshiro said every drop of water in Soul Society is dissapearing, NOT Seireitei, the rainstorm in every single panel stretches FAR beyond the horizon attesting to this fact he affected the whole planet in such a short time.
