Any reason to believe he can cut people in another dimensions?

Even with all these conditions stacked against Obito, I still think he wins. He could easily just use genjustu on him and be done with it since energies are equalized.

If it materializes, it's more than likely a confirmation of a hit, which would necessitate Damage. in turn, mitigating said defense.

Alternatively however, a standard DE from Sukuna for more than 5 minutes would suffice.

As I understand it, so long as Sukuna's opponent exists in the space he's targeting, they'll be cut. Technically, Obito wouldn't physically exist there, but in Kamui. He may be able to catch him by surprise, though.

how’s the slash gonna work on somebody in a different plane

Even with the conditions stacked against Obito, I still think he takes this but with high diff maybe. Mahoraga will be a problem, especially if it can adapt to genjutsu or Obito's Kamui abilities.

Well, actually, now I'm not sure who wins the more I think about it. I could see either of them winning, but they'll really struggle to get the win.

Sukuna's space slash isn't touching Obito. The reason it hits Gojo is because despite infinity, he is still part of that space, so he is cut alongside everything that exists in that space. But Kamui is an alternate dimension, Obito's body isn't physically in the real world anymore while using it. Unless Sukuna can cut through dimensions, which i doubt he can.

Being able to cut space doesn't mean you can cut through dimensions. The latter is a magnitude above in term of power.
