Current Kratos vs. Current Wonder Woman

The Rules

• Current Versions of both characters.
• Kratos has all his gear and armor from GOW4 and WW has her sword and shield.
• Win by death or knockout.

I'm going to assume that by "current," you mean Rebirth since that's the pic you used. I see it going either way. On one hand, Diana is faster than Kratos and has better form (she doesn't twist and spin around with all that fluffy stuff, just thrusts), but Kratos has freezing powers, so... On one hand, Diana is vulnerable to cutting damage, but Kratos' axe doesn't actually cut through npcs so much as it smashes them around till their health bar is gone. Her damage soak for the times she does get damaged is pretty impressive. She got shot right through the chest cavity and took another bullet to the abdomen without even slowing down. She also pretty much instahealed cuts from Cheetah. Pretty sure Diana has better blunt force invulnerability than Draugs, but there's still the chance that she can get one shotted if the axe does manage to cut too deeply. Kratos can also freeze her in place and finish it, but I think he'd just hit her shield and it'd resist the magic. Even if the shield does get frozen, she has her bracers and those would definitely resist the magic. On the other hand, she's certainly faster than Kratos. Idk if GOW4 Kratos has any piercing / cutting resistance feats yet, but I don't see what's stopping Diana from amputating his limbs or decapitating him. So, I'll give it to Diana with a slight majority because of her versatility.

@flashfyr: God of War 2018 kratos gets pierced by arrows and cleanly stabbed by rocks. "Piercing durability & resistance" is not his specialty.

Not gonna argue about who's superior but I'm fairly certain Rebirth Wonder Woman is legit slower than her DCEU Counterpart lol

I wouldn't say she necessarily struggles against machine gun speeds. The thing is is that she got shot from behind preemptively by Dr. Poison's sniper rifle, and it's implied that her bullets are dipped in something (cuz c'mon she's Dr. Poison). While defending against machine gun fire for the rest of the time, she gets shot once but successfully deflects everything else. The firing squad is an elite mercenary team who, if I recall correctly (Godwatch / The Truth happened a while ago), went up against Steve's spec ops team and won. Judging by their outfits, and the fact that they're trying to kill Wonder Woman, I'd say that their weapons are superior to anything that Diana usually has to deal with. The assault rifle that DCEU Diana deflected in the Justice League bank scene had a muzzle velocity that's lower than an M16's by 800 feet per second, and it was only one. The fact that Rebirth only got legitimately shot once is pretty impressive, considering the circumstances (she couldn't move around or dodge either because she was protecting Steve). Based on that, I do think she's faster and more durable than DCEU Diana, because she not only took bullets through the body twice, not slow down at all when she took down Poison, and then heal the wounds very very fast, but she also managed to react to a bomb whose timer was at 0:01 in order to shield the little girl, and then no sell the explosion at point blank.

She struggled to block machine gun fire and more recently she failed to block ricochet bullets

@_kingoflatveria: Pretty sure this would count as PIS just to get those quote boxes in. Like I said before, Diana took two bullets through the chest cavity and just got annoyed. This panel where she got shot by the ricochet bullets seems like just an attempt to raise the stakes. Not sure if it's a good example of her speed either because she was heavily distracted by the hundreds of lives that the gunmen were threatening, which wouldn't be a factor if she's solely focused on Kratos.

Bump. Diana wins now due to her performance against an amped Supergirl in Wonder Woman #47.

My god what a downgrade WW got for this to be debatable.

Shes back up. She went up against Darkseid and made him drop to his knees and broke his finger, and just stomped an amped Supergirl. She would destroy Kratos.

Current Diana should win. Her showing against amped Supergirl was pretty good.

@agent41: Never said it was but that is the only one required to put her above Kratos.

Her showings against Darkseid when he had absorbed the other Gods also put her out of Kratos' league, IMO.

@agent41: Exactly. Then she also fought supes and her speed blitzing Cheetah also makes her a little too fast for Kratos.

@agent41: Pretty much yes. Some may contend that Kratos was reacting to Baldur's speed blitz but Baldur's speed is unquantifiable while Diana was simply creating afterimages as a result of her blitzing Cheetah.

Even current Wonder Woman effortlesly tears current Kratos apart now.

Everyone knows that was just bullshit, it's like to say Kratos can stomp 3 Flashes at once cause Catwoman also did it.

Ehh, not quite back up yet. I mean, she managed to break Darkseid's finger with significant effort and using both arms to do it. She is well above Kratos though.

The SUpergirl feat is neat :)

@alsimmons77: Catwoman actually has a secret superpower. She can turn super speed characters into jobbers. She took on and defeated Cheetah in Post crisis era.

Whats Wonder Womans best strength feat?

Damaging darkseid is impressive. I guess I would give it to her in that case. But I think Kratos puts up a better fight than most seem to think here.

@gokuisstrongest: Is Kratos able to use his Enchantments and etc. Because he has one that allows him to stop time for a brief movement. And other Enhancements that allows him to do weird HAX stuff in battle.
