who wins?
Naruto goes mad
Naruto by feats
Cthulhu by hype.
[At the proper time,] the secret priests would take great Cthulhu from his tomb to revive His subjects and resume his rule of earth [...] Then mankind would have become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and reveling in joy. Then the liberated Old Ones would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom.

What can Cthulu do?
Way too much XD.
"Invulnerability"
"Immortal"
Are you sure of that because that makes him literally impossible to be beaten by anyone in any verse
@frieezaisavegan: You do realize there are different types of immortality/invulnerability, right? There's immortality via regeneration, immortality based on longevity, etc. There's also temporary invulnerability, intangibility, etc.
The cthulhu mythos is not a series made for the battle boards
@beatdownexpress: I'm aware and i'm pretty sure that's the case with this character, because as i said what'd be the purpose of putting literally invulnerable entity into a battle. But i'm basically asking this person to elaborate on it, because to just say "x guy is invulnerable [period]" is a lie unless he's really invulnerable, that is impossible to harm in any way. So i'm asking what does it mean he's invulnerable, what are the exceptions and how can he be hurt.

Cthulhu in his prime destroyed stars on his way to earth casually. If OP didn't align the stars Naruto could actually win via Cthulhu self-bfr or Naruto goes mad depending on if he looks at him or Cthulhu goes to sleep 1st.He won't do anything unless the stars are aligned except sleep. How likely is it to happen? once in vigintillion years literally since it happened 1 time.
@godren: Naruto goes mad? What powers/hax does Cthulhu have? I'm familiar with the Cthulhu Mythos verse a bit but haven't dwelled into Cthulhu himself, who is pretty 'weak' juxtaposed to its massive verse of powerful beings.

Neither is One-Punch Man

I agree, but that doesn't detract from the point, it adds to it. Some series aren't really fit, Lovecrafatian Novels happen to be one.

I have never watched Naruto, or read the manga, but I highly doubt that Naruto, a vastly superhuman being, with some TP resistance, is going to go mad looking at him.
@god_of_batman: He got his head destroyed by a steam boat, instantly regenerated and went back to sleep. The bodies of those lovecraftian creatures aren't really flesh and this happened when he was awakened at the false time.

Okay cool, good to know. People must have been trying to lowball him
Naruto goes mad
Naruto is still human, right? I don't much about the guy, but from what I've heard, he's technically human. Well, Naruto takes one good look, shits his pants and goes crazy, like the rest of us would. He then curls into a ball, sits in a corner and mutters incoherently to himself about rainbow death unicorns or whatever.
@decaf_wizard: Well, Yog-Sogoth is kinda crazy in terms of power though and a sleeping Cthulhu was able to drive people all around the planet crazy whilst sleeping.
But yes, there are a lot of bigger fishs in the pond
@rac95: Yea, but that doesn't mean the Outer Gods would view him in any different light than they view humans
@ovy7: entire stars are being destroyed now as we speak lol.
@rac95: Yea, but that doesn't mean the Outer Gods would view him in any different light than they view humans
That's true, I just thought the comparison was a bit harsh. I mean comparing those two is like comparing Captain America to Thanos

Yeah, that's an even better comparison
