A Borg cube as of when the Enterprise-D first encountered it. What I mean by "fire ship" is the ST equivalent of what that meant back in the early days of the age of sail. A starship loaded up with nothing but explosives/torpedoes, evacuated and the computer set on autopilot to drive the vessel into the cube at warp with all the torpedoes/bombs armed. Thus forcing the cube to take both the physical brunt and all that explosive force. But let's say that the cube has already adapted to all the Enterprise-D's phaser and etc frequencies, though the ship used for the fire ship method here doesn't have to be the Enterprise-D but can be just any ship Starfleet has lying around. Would this kill a Borg cube?

@robertmiles1: Trek ships can both detect and fire on ships at Warp...so no. One of the stated reasons getting so close to fight- even though they have weapons ranges that could fire on earth from Saturn-is to shorten the response time of the opposing ships since they can detect weapons from far enough out to dodge. Ramming is a vable tactic in trek, provided you can bring down the shields. But it's success depends on a veriety of factors. In most situations however, a Borg cube is simply to massive in comparison to the Galaxy class. It would be like trying to stop a semi with a motorcycle.
