Could Sage Mode Naruto beat Danzo

let’s say roles were switched Naruto fought Danzo how Would things turn would Naruto stomp or would Danzo abilities prove to much

Is this just a random encounter or does he have the same things he had when he fought Pain? Namely, does he have clones in reserve gathering Nature Energy?

Edit: Going with Naruto either way, his physicals are much better than Danzo's and his summons are vastly superior. He could just call in Ma and Pa or any of the three giant toads to do the work for him. And honestly aside from some cool Wind Release techniques Danzo wasn't that impressive.

Naruto will run out of sage mode long before Danzo runs out of eyes, I see Danzo being able to take him after he dies a few times

If Naruto doesn't resort to rasenshurikens or put under Genjutsu, Danzo loses even worse than against Sasuke since Sasuke fought Danzo after fighting the 5 kage, specifically Ay, and wasn't at full capacity. If, for sake of argument, the Kyuubi comes out like against Pain, Danzo gets stomped. Danzo was only good because of Izanagi and that's it.

Danzo probably wins if or when Naruto wastes his sage chakra due to not knowing about Izanagi.

really? I mean Sasuke did pretty well despite not being at 100% after fighting a bloodlusted 4th Raikage and I'd wager Sage Mode Naruto is more physically impressive than Sasuke. I'd think Danzo would die from a serious hit from Naruto or a Rasengan.

I'm inclined to believe in danzo mainly because it seems like the kind of conflict he's kinda built/ prepared for. Between the sharigan and the genjutsu and things they said from the series it seemed he was preparing to take Naruto at some point. Danzo 6.7 out of 10

@reaverlation: Obito took Sasuke away and healed him, iirc. Naruto only has a finite amount of sage chakra at this time though, and can only do two Rasenshuriken before losing all of it. He’s also not starting this fight with any toads and doesn’t have someone like Karin with him who could watch the fight from the sidelines and help him learn about and eventually figure out a counter to Izanagi.

Kage summit sasuke was leagues above pain arc sm naruto, so naruto gets one shot lol

you're right that Karin healed Sasuke in the Kamui dimension but his eyes weren't at 100% since those can't be healed. If Naruto resorts to the rasenshuriken, it can spell trouble but I don't think Naruto would use it right away like against pain since Naruto was more aware of how powerful Pain was. I don't know if Karin is here or not since the OP just states that Naruto replaces Sasuke but even then I don't think Danzo can handle Naruto's physical prowess like his strength and speed. IIRC Naruto can last 5 minutes using Sage Mode during the Pain Arc so I don't think it would be enough time to win so I think you're right in the end. If Naruto has the clones building up the sage chakra, then Naruto wins

Naruto is better suited for fighting Danzo since he has sage mode sensing and enhanced reactions, izanagi is rendered useless. Gamabunta could probably beat danzo with narutos assistance.

Based on what was shown, the toads could possibly solo danzo like 3-4 times, and naruto finishes the rest. I doubt he’d even need to use rasenshuriken.

I mean if it’s a full on switch and Naruto has all of the toads he had when fighting Pain, then he stomps.

@thevivas: Yeah I agree. If Naruto is fully prepared with back up clones and summons he wins. In a random encounter with just one sage power up he runs out of power before he can waist all of Danzo's eyes. Naruto could still win if he summons mid fight and gets some clones to quickly charge up some more sage chakra, but I can definitely see Danzo taking Naruto out if he doesn't have prep or knowledge.

Even considering his Multiple 9 lives with Inzangi, Danzo still can’t tag SM Naruto who should be too fast for him. There’s a big gap in speed here. A few Frog Katas and Rasenshuriken will damage Danzo much more than what MS Sasuke did.

SM Naruto beat Pain even though he had knowledge, he managed to blitz them. Danzo isn’t doing the same.

with prep and knowledge yes. Without no, Danzo will catch him ofguard. Sasuke had chance against Danzo only because of susanoo keeping him safe or he would gotten killed.

And SM Naruto was baby shaking Pain untill he reverted to normal.

@sladeracer: Nagato can't end it one fight, Kurama litteraly walked off his strongest attack. Kurama is part of Naruto. And no he didn't have a full village helping him, Naruto litteraly told them to stay out of. Which is stupid because had the village helped Pain would stand zero chance.
