If we're scaling from Piccolo's moon feat in the saiyan saga then yeah....that attack was atleast subrel...and raditz,vegeta,nappa,zarbon,dadoria had all surpassed that significantly

The thing is, via scaling, they should be several times the speed of light, which puts them above any of these guys' reaction speed. But they lack the feats to prove it, so I'd stick with no for now.

No they cant and none of the dbz characters were light speed until cell sage, as they got hit by solar flare which is the only confirmed light speed move countless time. E.g. vegeta in sayain saga, freeza second form, vegeta and trunks super sayain got hit in cell saga

Actually, if we're going by that, Goku was light speed when he was a child. He not only avoided Solar Flare, but managed to steal Master Roshis' shades to block it before anyone realized what happened.

By that logic, everyone by the Namek Saga had to be well-beyond Light Speed, and most people only fell for Solar Flare because nobody expects to be hit with Solar Flare. (Plus, only a handful of people used it, so why guard for it?)

They lack speed feats in general, period. And there aren't even any consistent speed feats to scale them from.

And what does this prove, exactly? We're still left with the issue of trying to quantify their speed. Besides, Ginyu actually fought on somewhat even ground with a suppressed Goku, while Burter couldn't even track him. His statement is meaningless, since it would also imply he's faster than Freeza, which we know isn't true.

In reality, they don't even make it past DMS Kakashi. No answer to his intangibility and no speed feats to suggest they can blitz him.

@marishtar: I agree but Ginyu Force is much closer than anyone in Naruto. They were much faster than sub-relativistic Raditz and too fast for Namek z-fighters that had perceptions to keep track of space pods.

Debatable, i have big problems with DBZ scaling but they could be faster.

All of them will die except for Sasuke. Both of them wouldn't be able to blitz Sasuke because of his sharingan precognition instantaneous teleportation

That feat is extreme questionable and would anyways count as outlier, the Naruto data books are garbage full of hot gabage.

@scouterv: Goku grabbed Master Roshi’s glasses, while Tien was performing the move. That’s more of a super sonic to hyper sonic level feat. There is no evidence to prove that he moved faster than light in that feat. Even if he did, it’s a massive outlier to any other showing. If Kid Goku had really moved faster than light, then massively faster and more powerful characters would have no trouble avoiding the attack. If he had moved that fast, then Goku who was faster and more powerful in later years wouldn’t have taken as long as he did on Snake Way. If he could move that fast, characters wouldn’t take hours to travel across a planet in later sagas.

No one here is anywhere near light speed by feats or even by scaling.
