No because heroes like Thor have atomic bonding significantly higher than humans. As shown by Thor not even bruising through Hulk's beating and it took Thanos to probably hitting him at pressure spots to beat the crap out of him.

It is not physical attack but separation of atoms. Taking hits from Thanos and being destroyed atom by atom are different.

I mean it truly is a 50/50 scenario I haven’t seen Dark Phoenix so I’m not sure who else she did this to.

IIRC it only takes 3 000 000 000 joules to disintegrate someone on a molecular level. It would take much more to do the same to Thor, his molecular bonds should be way stronger than a human’s.

And unless its complete matter erasure its not ignoring durability. You can seperate molecules and atoms with force and energy.

Jean tk is thousand tonner + range, more than enough to do that.

Hulk and Kurse best striking feats are only in the high hundred ton range.

You are stretching. Unless there is concrete evidence, like perhaps Thor mentioning said weak spots, we aren’t gonna assume Thor could tank the hits that he clearly couldn’t bear with.

Fox continuity contradicts that after Dark Phoenix came out. Jean wasn’t possessed by the Phoenix and never had the Phoenix apparently in Apocalypse.

If you want explanation for why we see fiery wings, I don’t know? I can give speculation at best, but we clearly see the Phoenix Force enter Jean for the first time in Dark Phoenix, so whatever Jean was projecting in Apocalypse wasn’t the actual Phoenix.

@pyrofn: the Force was never called the Phoenix and only showed a raptor after merging with Jean. Jean is the Phoenix part of the Phoenix Force.
