This is not a who wins with KO or Death. This is simply who you think by feats and statements is faster!
Combat/Reflex Speed Wolverine vs Batman
@god_spawn Your a big knowledgeable fan of Wolverine and Batman. Opinion?
The first two scans show Wolverine dodging Nukes machine gun fire, and then dancing around him like a ghost. The third scan shows Wolverine holding back against X-23 and still creating after images with his movements. I think Batman is incredibly fast for a human, but Wolverine has made even Spider-Man ponder if he was as fast as him with his speed displays. He should be faster than Batman.
I say they are roughly equal from what I've seen but call it a hunch I think the OP and Wolverine08 may be somewhat bias. Just to balance out all the high showings
Lol, no bias here. Batman is my second favorite hero, and incredibly fast for a human, but he just doesn't eclipse Wolverine's super human speed.
Wolverine is faster.
Damn! Which comic is that from?
I think it's Batman 681.

Batman issue 681
@dextersinister: Totally irrelevant, Spider-Man is way faster than Batman and Wolverine combined.

I know but it's not irrelevant to the debate, it was a counter point to the claim that Wolverine makes Spiderman question if Wolverine is as fast as him.
@sheenlantern: It is relevant since someone said Wolverine's speed displays makes Spider-man think they are close in speed.
Wolvie is superior when it comes to physical stats.
I would say this is true of Wolverine with no adamantium in regards to speed. The adamantium allows him to lift a lot more by physically reinforcing his frame and adds to his blows but it's weight and effect on his health slow him down.
I think the main difference here is that Wolverine is a mutant with superhuman physical abilities given to him by his DNA, Batman is a human with superhuman physical abilities given to him by his popularity.

This definitely applies to all popular heroes but granted it applies to the the both of them probably more than any other, Batman is in about 5+ titles at the moment and when around the League he is normally displayed as ultra competent to justify his position.
Wolverines the trope namer: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WolverinePublicity
The guy has more back story than the rest of the X-Men combined which has been used to explain why he went from a brawler to a master martial artist but not only that they have retconned history to make him one of the people responsible for Xavier starting the X-Men.
I agree with about some stuff with Wolverine, but he was never a "brawler". He was always meant to be an incredibly skilled fighter. He wasn't called "The Best There Is" for no reason.
they are both crazy fast a stealthy and skilled that's why they are always beating people who are more powerful and have large numbers.
that said wolverine has enhanced speed strength and agility where batman is peak human.
and just because I have wanted to post this for a while and hasn't had a reason.
I think Wolverine is roughly faster in combat speed, but Batman would be much more faster in reflexes.
People here really think Batman (a normal human) is really faster than a mutant with superhuman attributes?
@wolverine08: His reflexes are most of the time deemed as superhuman or close towards it.
Gets out of this cop's peripheral vision without him even blinking.
Someone already posted a scan of Wolverine doing that to a bullet timer.
@nickzambuto: Incorrect, somebody posted a feat of the character turning around and Wolverine not being there, a massive difference between disappearing in front of your face.

Yea, I see that now, thanks.
Wolverine's speed and reflexes are superhuman. Batman's are peak human.
Doesn't matter, feats say otherwise. Batman is beyond peak by the way.
Leaving before the perimeter before Flash can find him.
That's quite impressive.
@wolverine08: You may be putting to much focus on the fact that he is suppose to have heightened stats, as I've already mentioned his adamantium does have a negative impact on them as he was a lot faster without it.
At the end of the day he has typical popular street leveler showings in the same vain as Batman, Deadpool, Hawkeye and pretty much anyone with a solo who's main fodder is guys with guns.
I agree that the 100lbs from adamantium should slow him down, but I really don't think it's that big of a difference since he still has amazing speed/reflex feats even with the adamantium skeleton.
Wolverine is faster than Batman.
If he is, it wouldn't be by much.
@cadencev2: also I know your just posting scans of speed feats in the op but the one for batman looks like its from batman odyssey which isn't canon (I would have to double check to be sure).
@wolverine08: Not just the weight, the health aspect of being constantly poisoned and holding back his mutation (is feral Wolverine still a thing?)
His speed has been shown to great enough to make Spider-Man (a guy who easily out runs cars) think he could be faster than him. I'd say the gap between Logan's and Bruce's speed should be noticeable.
The adamantiums effects on his health and healing factor are extremely small. He still was able to heal from a nuclear explosion bringing him down to a skeleton in a few minutes. The adamantium isn't that big of a nuisance.

This isn't about running speed. It's about Combat/Reflex Speed as the title of the thread has it..
feat wise they are about even they are both impossibly fast for humans and are usually underrated.
reflexes are even movement speed wolverine is faster and stronger
Starting five feet away closes in on Nuke after he pushed the firebutton on his rocket launcher and kicks it away before the rocket even leaves the barrel.

Did not know this, it was a scan someone showed me as proof of Batman's speed.
@angryhulks: Man I remember that issue, so sick!

that makes no sense at all. Wolverines abilitys and feats are given by the writer, the same as Batman.
