Eh. Havok’s feats against bricks or high tiers are pretty sparse and or lackluster. Off the top of my head he’s made Professor Hulk, Gladiator, and Kang cry out in pain. But then you have instances of just staggering Apocalypse or blasting Thor away. Nothing in any instance above showed anything that he would’ve defeated them or done massive damage. Havok’s best feats are amps like when he absorbed the star and fought Vulcan or was draining Hulk and powering himself up.
While Colossus gets a bit of a bad rep on this site IMO, he still has fought evenly with Red Hulk for a time, taken blows from Thor, Savage and WWH, Gladiator, Juggernaut multiple times, (amped as well and Kuurth), Sasquatch, Champion etc. Point is while some of those guys still hurt him, some close to KO’ing or eventually doing, he tanked something. He had a hole ripped in him by a Celestial probe and flung across San Fran and has shrugged off some solid tier blasts from Cyclops.
Morals on, I don’t see Havok doing much more than basic hurting him and some flinging around. Colossus can counter this with a ground pound or a thunderclap, both things he has done. Something to disrupt Alex and come in to one shot him.
Round 2. Havok has a better chance, and there is the argument that with his power level, he can do something. Havok is powerful and you can debate if he’s stronger than Scott, though I’d argue Scott is actually more powerful and has said he could kill Piotr if he had to with a highly focused beam, something Havok isn’t as pinpoint on. Havok is just more destructive. But Havok’s best feat is what, containing Xorn’s black hole somehow? And again, multiple feats against high tiers are hurting them, but if nothing is close to being indicative of a KO, what’s the argument for Alex here really? Scaling to Cyclops? Just not enough IMO.
@god_spawn: Wasn't there something about havok's plasma almost killing piotr if he didnt stop or something like that during the outback or inferno era? could be misremembering tho
@marvelfan1992: I feel like there is something too, but I don’t remember either and I can’t find anything on it.
Havok has melted adamantium right?
Yeah, a sustained bloodlust blast would take down colossus
Not that I recall. The feat in question if I’m remembering right Havok said the door he was blasting was tougher than it looks and said it must be “adamantium or something”. By that quote it was just a guess. But nothing was stated the door actually was made of adamantium. And if it was, since he destroyed it and it was an older comic, it falls under the secondary adamantium category making the feat far less impressive than true ady. And on top of that, if he has been melting adamantium, his feats against higher tiers should be much better, but they’re not. I can see an argument for round 2 with Alex winning but not round 1.
Havok spams blasts until Colossus closes the distance and bonks him.
Agreed.
