@xmangog__beastx: it's a really ironic that we always have same opinion lol
@god_spawn: it's an amp namor right?
@supermanthor: I’m assuming we are since nothing was said otherwise. If it’s pre-current Namor, Colossus wins handily.
@smoothsanta: @god_spawn: oh I wasn't aware something happened to Namor lol. What is "current namor"? did he get an amp or something?
@marvelfan1992: A bit of Jason Aaron happened to him.
Not sure if there's some context I'm missing here though. I don't really follow The Avengers' book.
Colossusnaut lacks the damage output unless he go's full demon mode than he stomps but since it's out of water Colossusnaut can slowly wear Namor down.
@god_spawn: ok thanks
@noone1996: was Namor just written more powerfully in that clash with the Avengers or was there an actual amp? have only seen the battle, so I don't have context for it atm
Namor just cant put him down. I see him controlling the fight, but theres just no way to well, stop the Colosonaut
@marvelfan1992: It's implied that he was amped.
@marvelfan1992: It's implied that he was amped.
@marvelfan1992: @theinsufferable: There is no indication that he was amped, but if he was looking at the setting they are fighting in(Underwater) that’s probably why they lost.
If Colossunaut was underwater sure Namor has advantages, but on the surface I don’t see current Namor winning if Thor said he beat him before the underwater battle.
See scan above, it's flatly stated he's stronger than ever and has power of "righteous rage"
@marvelfan1992: @theinsufferable: There is no indication that he was amped, but if he was looking at the setting they are fighting in(Underwater) that’s probably why they lost.
@green_skaar: I read the story. But they are fighting underwater which clearly gives Namor a huge advantage.
Look at Thor’s comments “When last I encountered him.” Which the fight could possibly have happened on land(since we didn’t see it) now it’s underwater. That’s his amp being underwater.
Correct, fighting underwater does give an advantage, however he's clearly more powerful than ever was my point.
@green_skaar: I read the story. But they are fighting underwater which clearly gives Namor a huge advantage.
@green_skaar: @noone1996: I assumed that "power of righteous rage" was just a glorified side comment lol like how people say they fight for justice bla bla. But I guess that being an actual amp is the best reason as to why he was performing extremely well
@green_skaar: I wasn’t Disagreeing
I'm not sure how he would out Colossonaut down.
Juggerlossus.
LOL
@marvelfan1992: If your intention wasn’t amped Namor then forget it lol.
@comic_book_fan: Amped by the writer. There is no indication of an outside source helping him according to the scans. The underwater bit only seems to help him with mobility if we take Iron Mans word for it in this fight specifically.
@mooty_pass: I’m kinda confused if you’re suggesting the amp in question here for Namor is him underwater, when it’s pretty clear Namor is amped considering he’s single handedly holding back two Avengers who have been able to fight with him underwater multiple times just fine, but you’re not disagreeing with GreenSkaar, yet that was his point all along?
@god_spawn: Let me Clarify. Yes, it’s pretty clear he’s gotten amped. But being the fact they are fighting underwater it’s easy to assume this amp is coming from him being underwater. Thor states he’s fought him before this event happened, yet we don’t get to see or even know where their fight takes place. I agree with the user GreenSkaar in the since that he’s clearly amped, but they are underwater which is a massive advantage an reason why he’s doing so well against them.
@mooty_pass: Gotcha.
@marvelfan1992: Like I said, it's implied. It's not outright confirmed through any source. Like the story hasn't straight up said that he took magic pills which made him lift more or something. Their dialogue implies it and Namor really shouldn't be that powerful.
