Supes has very obvious weaknessses that Surfer's powerset just allows him to explore and exploit fast.

Silver Surfer is one of the worst opponents you can put Superman up against.

Surfer stomps all rounds. He's a hard counter against someone like Superman.

Superman has resisted absorption from Parasite before, so I don't think Surfer could just drain Superman. Superman should possess greater speed if we look at higher end feats. Consistency wise they are relative so we have to look at higher end feats, and that's when Silver Surfer dies.

Round 1 is an easy win for Surfer

Round 2 might take longer but Surfer would eventually win.

Sliver Surfer his has to much assets and simply would kill the sun and make supes weak asf or just kill supes organs

surfer is clearly out of his league.

The only thing Supes has over Surfer is striking and combat speed. Surfer all around just has way better energy manipulation and hax, while also having a pretty broken healing factor. I think he also has slightly better durability.

Surfer has a dozen ways to win, Superman has exactly one.

Surfer is just a perfectly made counter to someone like Superman, his advantages just don’t matter. He might be stronger, hit harder and slightly faster but that doesn’t mean jack because Surfer will just drain him. It’s the same trump card that’s always got him the W against Hulk. Surfer is perfectly built to beat them.

superman would need to lose his weaknesses and have upgrades in some stats to take on surfer or surfer needs to fight like captain atom

@huko: he is, Thor’s powerset lends himself to being a better match for Surfer.

Yeah, but Clark’s immense speed advantage over Thor makes him a better fit to just clap Thor around. Every character fits in differently. For example, I think Hulk is a much tougher fight for Flash than Supes or Thor because Hulk’s insane durability and healing will make him much harder for Flash to put down even though I think Supes takes a majority over Thor and Hulk respectively.

Classic Surfer used his versatility more often in combat.
