although we havent seen his million sun exploding thingy,,in the "real abilities comic land" with that sort of power he just one shots dd and game over,,come to think of it,he one shots alot of big players in comics really.

I belive the creator of sentry really did intend for him to be more powerful than superman and even able to beat doomsday I mean look at how easy he defeated terrax the Surfer has never been able to do anything Like that

@lordraiden: K bud, i think what vance means by classic sentry, is the same way we would refer to sa supes. Ignore how weak he has been as of late, assume he had those powers and feats which marvel said he had back in the day, and then take the discussion from there. Not argue how his present self is bullshit, from being like supes, to besting the molecule man. He is marvels everyman i guess. The ppl who have been writing his stories are idiots and have been screwing up us readers for a while. So just believe what they said about classic sentry then decide, instead of basing your decision on the new idiot sentry k man?

I thought classic Sentry was when he wore the mask? Anyway, Doomsday would kill him, unfortunately. And as for the guy above, Classic Sentry is the original Sentry when the junkie Reynolds became a great hero that was friends with Reed Richards and etc. They went through a complicated thing where they devised a plan to have everyone in the world "forget" The Sentry, he actually has classic ties, but not classic in the true sense of the word. Sentry would put up a good fight with his speed and strength, and might even go exploding sun and cause the enviroment around them to fry, but Doomsday's survived worse, and he would eventually pound Sentry down and kill him.

Doomsday stomps up and down Sentry. Sentry could not even hurt Doomsday, much less defeat him in combat. Doomsday has defeated exceptionally more powerful opponents before. Doomsday wins.
